The location is great! The Shops and Beach are a 10 minute walk and there is a lovely pub (The Black Swan) on the Corner of the street that serves amazing food - make sure you book as it gets very busy. The house was like home from home and I would definitely stay again.
We stayed in this beautiful cottage for 5 nights and had a lovely holiday. Very relaxing the owners have thought of everything and it was so easy dealing with Alison throughout. Lovely area so close to the town especially with a tiny baby it could not have been easier. Will definitely return. Highly recommended
Perfect location for a stay in Swanage, just the right distance away from all the hustle and bustle but near enough that everything is still walkable. The property is beautifully decorated and has all that you'd need for a great holiday by the sea. We've visited Swanage for many years and this is one of the nicest places we've stayed. Three generations had more than enough space, the rooms are bigger than they appear in the photos. The walk from the cottage to the lighthouse (then back along the cliffs to Swanage via the Durlston coastal path) was spectacular. The attic room was a great hit with the children, it was easy to forget they were up there!
Back from a fantastic stay in Swanage. The cottage was perfect for 6 of us, and in a great location to all amenities. Would definitely stay here again. So comfortable and clean. Like home from home. Would recommend to others.
The cottage is amazing. A very, very lovely place. Furnished with a lot of love for details. The cottage has all what you need to have wonderfull days in Swanage. It is located central in the village and also near by the sea.
It was hot when we were there, and this place was a great retreat. Our daughter loved the bunk beds and upper floor while we were happy to chill out below and on the terrace. Pub next door was not too loud and served a good supper. Only gripe was condition of crockery and cutlery, presumably from previous guests, but soon washed up / over.
