“a tough walk from Swanage or a gentle one from Bankes Arms”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 27 August 2014

which ever way you approach it form its a lovely sight on a sunny day to see the cliffs, pinnacles and blue sea around Old Harry, Ballard Down and Studland. Cant believe how close some people stand to the edge or how they walk alont the narrow path to the end of the cliff - turns my legs to jelly - but still well worth a walk and a pint at the end

“Brilliant!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 24 August 2014

Excellent views - Poole, Bournemouth, Isle of Wight and the rocks themselves - and atmosphere. Easy to walk or cycle on bridleway - from South Beach Studland or Swanage - longer and more uphill, but additional spectacular views across Swanage Bay and Poole Harbour from the Obelisk.

“Splendid walk and views”

On a sunny morning with the butterflies out this is a gorgeous part of England. A comfortable stroll along to the headland with views all round the bay.

“A good walk after a sunday lunch”

Leave your car and just walk ! Well marked. You can make circulair tours or walk a fair part of the South Downs Way. Whatever you do, enjoy the views.
