Nice to go somewhere that is free except for car parking which is reasonable. You need to be fairly mobile (it is fairly steep to walk down from main entrance) to walk to the lighthouse but you can hire mobility scooters. The view out to sea and along the coast is stunning. There is a lovely restaurant/cafe and information centre.

An hour or so's stroll from the seafront at Swanage will bring you to this park which has good views, an interesting interactive video about the geological history of the area(did you know there used to be crocodiles in Dorset?) and a well serviced cafe with good food and excellent coffee. You can get a bus up there if you're less mobile, or walk one way, get bus back. An enjoyable halfday, good when the weather isn't.

We visited in the pouring rain but still loved the amazing views out to see from the cliff top path?

Wonderful views and relaxing walk with many scenic panoramas to be enjoyed from the many strategically placed benches ;) . Worked up an appetite as we headed towards the seventh wave restaurant contained within Durlston Castle . The park is such an interesting place with so much to enjoy and investigate ! The restaurant was an added bonus with delicious seafood selected from the 'specials' menu . Spectacular views of white cliffs and swirling diving birds against azure skies . Excellent shop with locally crafted items for sale and many interesting exhibitions within the castle . Recommend .

Dropped in for a coffee this morning, wonderful views from restaurant and good service and coffee, shame about the zillions of flies in the restaurant, so had to take it outside, luckily it was warm enough.
Would not like to eat there, although menu looked good!
