Food was lovely, nice size portions and not a bad price. The roast dinner was £9.50 and there was no problem with extra gravy or any other changes to the meal. I think i met the owners on the first night, very friendly and the pub had a nice atmosphere. However, on the two occasions when the owners son ran the bar the atmosphere was different. We were asked to leave the beer garden as neighbours had previously complained about the noise - we moved inside but regulars were not asked to move and later the barman was outside with his friends making considerable noise. Also, the previous evening we were told to leave at 11.10 as the pub was closing, we were hurried out. As we passed the window we could see the other side of the pub full of regulars enjoying their drinks - my friend said he would never go there again. I think its a shame one person has spoiled the experience and I would go back as the owners were very nice and the food was great.
