I visited the church just before one of the services and was gratified by my reception as a visitor rather than worshipper. I was greeted pleasantly by the excellent women handing out prayer books and meeting people at the door and allowed to watch the bell ringers inside the church and admire the interior before leaving it to the large number of worshippers there for Palm Sunday. The building is really lovely and worth visiting.

I got married in this church 21 years ago, and every time i go in it still feels me with awe, such a lovely church in stunning surroundings.

I was lucky enough to catch the tail-end of a music festival and heard the group rehearsing in the afternoon. I had to drag myself away but came back later for the last performance of the week in aid of a charity raising funds for young musicians. Wonderful stuff, beautifully played in a lovely setting. This time next year they'll do it again. Do go, it's really worth it.

Its location on the village green, next to a National Trust property. There must have been a wedding prior to our visit as the lych gate arch was covered in flower as were the end of the aisles
