we deliberated between Kempton townhouse hotel and my hotel
we only required one night and Kemptown min was two!
We were only very slightly disappointed but on the whole the hotel was great
the disappointments were
1 the bedroom was starting to look a bit tired with chipped woodwork and stains on the bathroom floor
and 2 one of those uber cool open bathrooms! ok if you are a couple but not as I was with my young neice!
she was more embarrassed than I was!
anyway I would recommend it still as there was
lovely friendly staff
quite cool bar and very busy café attached
all pretty good

Room Tip: top floor overlooking jubilee sqaure

After booking my hotel in Brighton for a relaxing few dad away from work. We booked a car parking space however be warned the car park is very very tight for cars but very secure. The hotel rooms are lovely and Trendy bed in the middle of room with the bathroom very small and very open. All in all a great stay with staff being very friendly and helpful. Will definately return

Read the reviews checked the hotel website and took the "top floor more superior room floor to ceiling windows to take advantage of the view" shame I was given a tired room in need of a tidy up with a stunning view of the air con system on pizza express roof. The room was a good size but the shower smelt of drains and had mould on the sealant also the chipped paint could be an easy fix so with a bit of effort this hotel could be what it claims MAIN MOAN MANAGEMENT PLEASE TELL YOUR RECEPTION STAFF TO KNOCK BEFORE WALKING INTO A ROOM

Was moved to this hotel when our original booking elsewhere was cancelled and was pleasantly surprised.
Great location and totally different to what we are used to, very quirky/funky. Had a superior double at the back of the hotel so no problems with noise at night. Cocktail bar was rammed so get in early for a quick drink before going out!
Room very comfortable with plenty of space. Nice touch with the integrated iPod speakers.

Had a meal at the Chilli Pickle and breakfast in the coffee shop. Normally would plump for a full English but this is not an option. However, a bowl of muesli, fruit juice, egg and bacon roll with hillbilly sauce and one of the best cups of coffee I have ever had will mean we will definitely return.

Only negatives for me would be the glass door to the toilet and poor lighting in front of mirrors for girls to do makeup but would not put me off of returning.

Thanks to Emily who greeted us on arrival and must mention discounted car park.

Cheers!

Stayed as an overnight for a concert in the Brighton Dome. Very convenient location just a 2 minute stroll around the corner. Parked in the NCP 5 minutes walk away and was provided with a discount voucher on check out worth £6.50 off the 24 hour fee.

Welcome was very friendly and helpful with lcoal area explained and map provided. Rooms are modern and minimalist everything very clean and functioning as new. Stayed in a more superior double on the 2nd floor which had plenty of wardrobe space. Recommended.

This hotel is uber modern. It wont be to everyones tastes as it is little bit space aged in design. It certainly couldn't desribed as 'cosy' but is still quite impressive in its own way. Its finished to a very high standard and has lovely extras like the fact you can plug your ipod into the wall and get surround sound in your room. it also has the best mini bar selection I've ver seen! The staff are really friendly and helpful and the location is very central. I would stay here again.

An excellent hotel. Modern and very different looking, but reasonably priced. It stands out against the mire of hiltons/premiers/accors/NHs and does something different without bumping up the price tag to the 200 mark.

The rooms are different - plenty of hanging space but no wardrobe, just clever hooks and coathangers built into the space. The reward for ditching the the wardrobe? (I mean really - does anyone need a wardrobe when the average stay duration is 2 nights?) A nicely spaced bathroom, big shower, a sink with a 180 degree shelves and mirrors.

On a personal note it was also lovely to find a hotel with such very excellent front of desk staff - they were achingly pleasant and should be congratulated on striving for a level of service comparable to a 5 star hotel rather than a city 4-star.
