Just got back from an awesome trip to Brighton which would have been vastly improved if I'd actually managed to sleep in this grim place. I gave stayed at the grapevine north laine before, which was fantastic in comparison to this place, so I was shocked when I saw the state of it. The room was dingy and dirty, he beds were very uncomfortable, the radiator didn't actually work (in December!!), the window didn't close so there was a constant icy breeze and the shower was filthy and didn't work properly. If you want to sleep in this place I suggest going out and drinking first because sleeping here sober is impossible due to the noise coming from outside, the 24 hour cafe downstairs is continuously noisy and full of drunk people shouting. Next time I stay in Brighton I will pick the North laine grapevine, or just pay extra fora Travelodge.
