“The Perfect Hotel in Brighton”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 15 June 2009

I recently stayed at this lovely hotel with a friend. The location is perfect, 4 roads along from the main pier and the room (5) was at the front of the hotel and we loved it so much we wanted to take it all home with us! Very comfortable bed and luxurious duvet and furnishings. The owner has taken every detail into account and created the perfect room and bathroom when this hotel was recently refurbished.
The owner Jag was on stay and could not have been more helpfull and recommended places to eat and drink. We had a fantastic stay at this lovely hotel, the room rate was excellent for the quality of stay and i have already booked to go back in August for a pamper weekend. 10 out of 10 and totally recommend this hotel to others.

We stayed at the Grand Pier Brighton on 6th June 2009 for one night and can do nothing but sing the praises of this lovely, recently refurbished, modern hotel/Bed and Breakfast. The location is fantastic, close to the marina and main seafront area, with all of Brighton's bars, shops and restaurants in very close proximity.
The boutique hotel had lovely decor and breakfast was delicious.
Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly and helpful management / staff. If we made passing recommendations or suggestions to add to our stay.....low and behold they appeared....including the addition of mushrooms to my breakfast!!!! Thanks Jag!!
I would certainly stay at the Grand Pier Hotel in Brighton again and would recommend to all.
Thanks for a lovely stay.

We stayed one night at Grand Pier, and though it was a rather last minute booking, we were very pleasantly surprised by the room - it was quite small, but clean and nicely decorated and the bed was incredibly comfortable, great pillows and linen, and a nice bathroom too. Would highly recommend as a good value place to stay - right by the seafront near the pier and a short walk through town to the Laines where we got a delicious breakfast. The owner could not have been more helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our brief time there.

On the whole I would say the Grand Pier is a good place to stay, but I have paid the same in other places and felt I got a bit more for the money. It was extremely keen and the boy working there was very pleasant and helpful.
The room was slightly tacky in the decor, but had a very comfortable bed and a good shower. Breakfast was fine, but (only because of the price) we were bit disappointed that there was only one choice - bacon, friend egg, half a tomato and beans. And the sausage was not a great one.

My wife and I recently visited Brighton for the weekend. It was a bit of a last minute booking done on line.

We were running very late on our way there due to me not finishing work until 6pm, trying to drag my wife away from Eastenders, dropping my son off, and then a 2 hour drive. It was while we were on the M25 that we realised that check in closed at 9pm. So we phoned and the manager said that it was no problem. We were met by a friendly smiling member of staff at 10.15pm.

The location is excellent. The promanade is at the end of the road, the pier is 2 mins away, there are bars and restaurants within spitting distance, and the town is only about 5 mins walk away.

The room itself was very modern, with an LCD TV/DVD player, and freeview channels. The shower was surprisingly powerful for the top floor of a hotel.

The only negative is the parking. Although I did discover that the best place to park is the promanade (about 100m away). I am also told that there is a NCP car park very near by.

All in all, it was a lovely weekend to celebrate out wedding anniversary.

We have just come back from a two night stay at the Grand Pier Guest House. The room we stayed in was very clean, extremely comfortable bed and good hot shower. Jag was a great host and has obviously invested time and attention to detail, in renovating this building. Very welcoming and a great breakfast, with plenty of coffee and newspapers to read. The room we stayed in was fairly small but so close to everything it really didn't matter. It was a comfortable, convenient and very pleasant place to stay. Thank you.
