Myself and a friend stayed here after a football match.
The room itself was nice and clean, the bar staff were friendly enough as were the reception staff.
Great location for clubbers too with Oceana next door and Revolution over the road. And of course the Pier a stones throw away.
Would recommend to anyone wanting a decent overnight stay, just make sure you book a twin not a double unlike my mate!! Doh!

Booked online, location was good. The room was very small. It was clean, and had TV with ability to make a cup of tea or coffee. Got up in the morning to shower..there was no hot water. There was no way to contact the front desk either. When we left, I informed the front desk staff that I had taken a cold shower. The lady said (in broken English) " you should have let us know"....I repeated myself, no knowing if she really understood the issue...she shrugged her shoulders and did not seen to care at all. All I was trying to do at that time was let her know to have someone check on the water before the next guest checked in. Oh...there was no place out front to stop the car to unload. We had to stop in the street to do this. No parking what so ever. Was not impressed with this hotel, and we have already sent our comments when we were e-mailed for feedback. (was there the beginning of Sept this year).

Room Tip: Not sure if they have any that have AC.....or room was warm and stuffy.

We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and it was great, great value for money with everything we needed.Great location, near town centre and also minutes from sea front. Our room was mall but not a problem. Will hopefully stay at this hotel again next year.

Room Tip: We asked for high floor room because hotel is next to a night club,so weekends can be noisy. We were on the 6th floor and had no problems.

good value ,cheap room, smallish but as everything you need. ensuite would of preferred shower doors instead of curtain but I was clean and did the job. hotel is in a very good position for everything .seafront round the corner, the lanes shopping area has fantastic little shops and the druid arms pub had good food and beer in a traditional olde worlde atomasphere. with open mic entertainment Wednesday nights. just 10 min walk. toy museum approx. 15 mins away, weatherspoons a few doors away. plus lots of restaurants near by. disco and night life in walking distance .room 715 has a sea view. realy good breakfast hot bacon, sausage, egg, beans. cereals, fruit, yogurt, croissant, jam ect, coffee ,tea ,fruit juice. if you pre book breakfast you get it cheaper so real good value. car parking was only problem, but it is all over brighton, hotel only gives discount at n c p car parks which are very expensive ! we parked on black lion street car park only 6 mins walk and £10 overnight . staff very friendly and welcoming. would stay again.

Room Tip: room 715 has sea view

Ive been coming to Brighton for years, love Girly nights away on the town. Used to stay at the out of town Travelodge which is Ok, much bigger bedrooms, but you have to get a taxi to and from row as its a good 45-50 min walk each way. Stayed at this seafront one three times now. First two times had a much bigger room as opted for a disabled room but this time we got a really small pokey stuffy room ;-( and the bathroom could of done with a scrub with a brush and some bleach. But location is perfect. Right by the seafront and high street.
Breakfast was good, eat as much as you can (with a hangover) blerrgh. Was nice food, fry up, cereals, juice and yoghurts etc for about £6 I think...
We will be back but will defo book a bigger room next time. ie disabled or family room
