Went to Brighton for the weekend chose the Travel Lodge purley for location as it is one straight road from the Station. You could not swing a cat round in the rooms the shower room was like a postage stamp. Heat in rooms was unbearable no aircon small windows although they see it as a sea view all you looked out to was a roof top then the see. Had to ask for a hair dryer. They do cheap offers at these Hotels however we paid £230 for two nights with no breakfast thats not cheap thats standard. I have been to many Hotels and must have been spoilt in the past as this was appalling only got a sorry on a complaint. Never never again will I stay in a Travel Lodge, One dissappointed customer not a comfortable experience feel i wasted my money dont generaly mind what I pay however I do expect some sort of standard this place is very low standard.

Room Tip: Only 5 so called sea view rooms all crap dont bother.....

A great place to stay for exploring Brighton seafront and The Lanes. A stone's throw from the seafront and Pier. Comfortable room, clean and airy. Good air-con. Wi-fi available. Good bar area, and breakfast available. All round a good, mid priced place to stay for exploring Brighton.

Just returned from Brighton Seafront Travelodge after a great few days away. The hotel has a great location for the beach, shopping or nightlife. Clean and well presented rooms. The only problem was no air con, but was given a fan which helped. For what you pay for these rooms I think it's great value for money. Would recommend.

Just stayed at the Travelodge Brighton Seafront for 3 nights, I must say firstly that the hotel is not on the seafront but up a side road so do not expect a sea view. The noise from the local bars and cinema (right next door) goes on into the early hours of the morning. Rooms very very small and basic but clean. I think that Stevie Wonder must have signed off the recently refurbished hotel as it has been done to a poor standard. One of the poorer travelodge that I have stayed in. One last point, if you want to park your car overnight you have to use the multi-story car park 200 yards down the road at a ridiculous £18.50 a night !!!

Stayed here whilst working at a conference - the rooms are basic but a decent size, very clean, super comfortable beds. What you would expect from a Travelodge really. The staff were very helpful, although there weren't nearly enough of them; on the nights I stayed the hotel was fully booked, yet there were only 2 staff on the desk at check in and neither of the automatic check in machines were working. I needed to get my door key card re-cut as it had timed out, and had to wait behind a queue of almost 20 people waiting to check in.

Be aware of the following:
- no hairdryer in the room, although you can borrow one from reception
- ditto iron
- no phone in the room
- windows barely open so room can get very warm
- no shower gel or soap provided

Would probably stay here again, mainly due to the excellent location - right on the seafront and about half a mile walk straight to the station.

Room Tip: Room 501 is very warm for some reason - my colleague's room next door was much cooler

I used to stay in Travelodge hotels quite often and couple of weeks ago I've stayed in Brighton Seafront one. The price was very appropriate to the the standard, location is just perfect, a bit noisy at night, but it's Brighton though. Bed amazingly comfortable and the stuff was just outstanding! :) Spanish receptionist gave me incredibly warm and professional welcome and she was very helpful through my whole stay. I got some issue with my breakfast and then some manager, Justine as far I remember, sorted my problem out in few minutes! What a great and professional service she provides!

I'll be back with my children for sure, keep going like that Brighton Seafront!

Room Tip: sea view room of course!
