“Lovely small theatre”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 November 2011

Having lived in Brighton for 6 years I have always travelled into The West End for Theatre shows. This year we decided to give Theatre Royal a try and weren't disapointed. It is a lovely small theatre giving an intimate feel and being able to walk home makes the evening all the better.

“Pre West End Theatre”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 November 2011

I have been many times and it is great to tell your London Friends - "seen it". Lovely old theatre which has just about hung on to its tradition surrounded by new developments. It is as if somebody clawed all the doors and windows when the developers arrived ands said "we are not moving out". If you are in Brighton check out what's on and BOOK before you leave home.

“Great night out, good performance and very busy!”

Despite the interrupted performance, we had a great time watching An Inspector Calls. The theatre is beautiful and and provided a stunning setting for the production. The bar staff and front of house were attentive and friendly.

“Simon Callow”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 November 2011

Great one-man show from Simon Callow in a beautiful old theatre. Don't get caught with half time drinks in the pub next door as they doo them in house.

A lovely old fashioned theatre which made a perfect setting for the wonderful Simon Callow performing Charles Dickens Dr Marigold and Mr Chops.
