I very much like the fact they often have pre-West End releases. The prices are pretty good for theatre tickets, biven that a show in London can cost nearly 80 quid these days. We've seen some great productions there (and a couple of less good ones!) Only quibbles would be a) the gents' toilet, which seem more of an afterthought than a facility and b) the main bar, which is tiny and like most theatre bars costs a fortune for a drink when you can finally push your way to the front to be served and c) a few seats which have what they call 'restricted views', but often mean you're staring at a pillar for most of the show. But overall, they do great work, great shows and spread the word about performances of all kinds, from plays to musicals to comedy to just about everything. They take a few risks with some of the things they put on, which probably don't always attract huge audiences, but we need things that support the arts in all its forms. We really like this place, and not just because it's down the road from where we are!
