Owner description: Zorian Artworks displays a collection of fine detailed landscape paintings of atmospheric subjects in bold vivid colours. Artist Zorian Matthews can be found here in his studio most days working on his latest piece and is available to talk to about any of his work as well as offering free advice on your own paintings and art projects.Located in the renowned Brighton Artists Quarter, Zorian Artworks is directly on the seafront promenade, contributing to the extensive art scene in the city. Opening out onto the beach next to Brighton pier it is a great to stop and just enjoy the art or purchase a piece that would look great in your home. The gallery is open to the public all year round, most days between 11.00am till 6.00pm.The gallery is in a converted Victorian fisherman's shop, built in the old brick arches lining the beach front and situated in the historic old town area of Brighton. These shops were formally used to mend nets and store boats etc and still retain their old character which compliments the art they currently house.

Visit to Zorian artworks is always an exciting event. Every time I stroll down the seafront, I feel like I must go and say hello to this talented, local artist. I have been watching his progression for a while now and I get more and more impressed with every visit. I love the fact, that Zorian is always there to talk about his work, inspirations and future plans regarding to his paintings. Have you ever wondered where are 'rubber ducks' come from? Ask Zorian! He has got a great story to tell about those yellow 'toys'.
His artwork is hypnotising, full of passion, beautifully matched colours and very detailed. When I saw his paintings for the first time, I wasn't sure whether they are photographs or original paintings. What a perfection he has mastered! Not everyone can afford an original painting, which are not expensive considering quality stuff you get, but there is something for everyone. There are variety of formats available such as canvas prints, postcards etc. I am a happy owner of incredible 'Brighton Pier Sunset' print which I love and admire!

The art work in the shop is very refreshing and taste is for everyone from average birthday gift to a memory of your visit to Brighton.

The colours are vibrant and so rich with ideas your find your never wish to leave the shop.

Its a great place to, right next to the beach - Mr Zorian is a great guy taller than a house and warm smile always welcome to listen to your ideas and requests.

He will also if you ask send you up dates on new paintings.

Above all I love the details in the paintings from the surfing ducks to wacky helta skelter

The shop is located just along the seafront and the paintings just catches your eye the moment you pass by them. The details are so precise so you can see the amount of effort that had been put into it. Not the ordinary kind of painting you just bump into the street. Truly an amazing work of art! I am not an art collector but it is just a sin passing by that shop without taking home a piece of it...

What an artist... His attention to detail is exquisite and his choice of colours sublime. I'm now the proud owner of one of his works, called "Time Flies" - Very pleased.

Zorians is in a great location right next to the beach but his work does not consist of seagulls and beach huts. Instead they are filled with bright flowers, powerful towering waves and adventurous rubber ducks. Zorian is a friendly down to earth guy, willing to discuss why, when and how he came to create each painting. I can't wait to hang our purchases in the house and share their stories with our friends. Art is certainly a personal choice but Zorians is worth a visit.
