Great food and Scottish beers were a surprise. A winning combination. Loved the decor too. Service attentive and fast.

Great curry and reasonably priced, but best of all they are not trying to be more than they are. They are serving top quality vegetarian food in a homely setting and are obviously enjoying that they are popular and people are loving what they do.

This is what so many restaurants cannot provide, for served from the heart and because of this they are really busy so you have to book to ensure you get a table.

Don't expect anything fancy, you will eat with a spoon and the water will come in a reused plastic bottle but your food will be properly cooked without swimming in fat and no sauces out of a factory from Hounslow.

We eat for four with starters (try the special salad thing, it was fantastic) and then split 6 half portions of mains, some bread and rice and a bottle of red wine and it came to a tad over £60. Amazing.

We thought we'd try this as we'd heard such good reviews about it but, as proper meat eaters, we were sceptical about how much we'd like it. But it was fantastic. Lovely staff - helpful, friendly and polite. And the food was gorgeous - didn't miss the meat at all. In particular, we loved the dhai bhel puri and the kotechoris for starters and the mixed vegetable curry and aubergine in yoghurt curry were beauthiful.
