A decent non-chain coffee shop, with slightly eccentric service and decor. I always call in here for coffee and a snack if I am on shopping trips in Brighton, although it can be quite busy at peak times. The prices compare well with the chains, and the produce is very tasty, with some novel items on the menu.
There is a little seating outside for the hardy and, if it gets too cold, the staff will provide a blanket.
Service can be slow at times, and often I wonder if the chef has died, but the staff usually jump to order if you mention it.
Also opens in the evenings, but I haven't tried it then.
