We have just returned from a few days away in Brighton. This hotel was recently taken over in April and the owner is steadily breathing new life into it! Our room was a good size, very clean with crisp white linen sheets and soft, thick fluffy towels not to mention tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and a mini fridge. The staff were attentive and friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was excellent with a large choice of cereals, yoghurts, juice, muffins, fresh fruit and a choice of full English breakfast cooked to order. The location was great, near all the attractions but quiet enough to enjoy a good night's sleep. Excellent value for money and would definitely return!

We've stayed in Brighton many times and the accommodation has been variable but Ainsley House has been the best so far. The location is perfect, the manager and staff are efficient and pleasant, it's very clean and the breakfast is excellent. We will definitely put this at the top of our list when we next look for accommodation in Brighton.

Room Tip: The views from the front are excellent.

Myself, partner and son went and stayed there. Me and my partner had a double room, our son had a single. Tea and coffee is provided in each room. The double was an en-suite, there was a shared bathroom on the landing for the non en-suite rooms. The whole place was lovely and clean (which is the main thing I look for wherever I go!) The staff were friendly and welcoming. They provide a full-English breakfast, or just toast (I had just toast a couple of times), there's also a lovely buffet with cereals, muffins, cookies and other breakfasty items.
It's just a short walk to the beach and to the main street. If we go to Brighton again, I have a feeling we'll book into the same place, it was so good. Absolutely brilliant.

Excellent Hotel close to all the attractions Brighton has to offer, including 2 minute walk to the sealife centre and the beach and Pier. Friendly welcoming staff. Clean, tidy rooms with good size ensuite and tea and coffee in the rooms. beds were large and comfy. Breakfast was full english toast, yoghurts fresh fruit and all the trimmings. The dated decor adds to the charm of the hotel. making it a delightful stay...we would definately use it again.

Room Tip: Front rooms have the sea view, but the back rooms are quieter.

My family (8 of us) stayed for 1 night after our daughter wedding. Could not have picked a better place to stay for the price I paid. The rooms were basic but very clean & comfortable. Tea & coffee tray in room. The full English breakfast was great including cereal, toast, fruit. If you are looking for a convenient place to stay in Brighton, Ainsley House will meet your needs

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view room

We had a good night at Ainsley House Hotel, our room was small but clean and functional. The area is nice, and the sea is just across the street. Breakfast was ok, although our coffee wasn't very good. We couldn't really sleep at night because of noisy seagulls, but there's not much the hotel can do about it! They could however revamp the place a little, as it looks like it needs a bit of love and the wall in our bathroom had lots of holes in it.

Stayed for one night in August. The room was basic but clean and a comfortable bed. The shower was clean but a bit tatty which was a shame as the rest of the room was fine. Staff friendly and helpful. The included breakfast was very good, full English and a choice of cereals, pastries, fresh fruit and yogurts. Parking is difficult as in most of Brighton but we found free parking in a street half a mile away. Would stay again.
