This hotel is the worst hotel I have stayed in. £180 for a double room. Run down no bath, take wet wipes as the shower didn't work. Wall paper grubby and peeling, the bathroom door wouldn't close. Lights hanging off the wall, bulbs not working, when I mentioned my concerns to the staff, they just shrugged and said tough they were fully booked. The hotel apparently has wifi but no code was available! TV reception is rubbish and overall the hotel is grubby and dirty. Have been bitten by something not sure what that was. I would rather sleep on a park bench than stay here again.

Was a little dubious when we pulled up to the hotel, mainly because if the run down cars in the car park that have clearly been there for several months.

Entering the reception we noticed a hole in the roof just off the side of the reception and an odd smell throughout.

After paying the £120 a night fee, we went up to our room which was extremely hot and smelt horrible, clearly used to be a smoking hotel, that has not been cleaned thoroughly since. The room was small, and only a sheet and blanket on the bed. No duvet.

On inspection on the room, there was thick dust on the wardrobe and around the edges of the room, and as you walked into the bathroom, you had to mind out for the jokes in the floor! The carpet was very off colour and stained badly!

I have never stayed in a hotel so hot; even hotels in Spain are cooler than this hotel. It was that hot my butter at breakfast was melting. Half of the room room is broken ie lights, window is hanging off, radiator is connected to the wall by wire, the bathroom floor needs flattening down and the shower doesn't work properly. However staff were helpful, inparticular the waiters at breakfast !

Room was clean and quite, if a little warm.
Staff friendly, didn't use wifi but phone signal good.

It's cheap, it's cheerful, nothing to complain about.

Would stay again. More interesting than a Travelodge.

Easily accessible from the A23, a couple of pubs and a Sainsbury's across the road with some more pubs and restaurants within a 5 minute drive. The room was OK, a bit dated and there was a smell of damp but beds, shower and TV was fine. Phone signal is very limited and WIFI is available in communal areas but not free. Breakfast was good, worth buying before stay/night before breakfast - continental breakfast with a choice of full English/vegetarian/kippers. May stay here again but would certainly not be first choice.

Our room was truly horrible. We stayed here for 1 night and that was more than enough. Arrived in the evening having been to a family function so it was dark which may have been a blessing in disguise! One tiny and I mean tiny light on the wall worked and one tiny light over the bed which didn't. Awful and tired decor. Didn;t really want to get into the bed. Really uncomfortable bed and what felt like a cheap mattress. The bathroom was clean though again very tired. One bath towel between us but too dispirited to ring down and get another by this time. Slept really badly, got up and left, never to return.
