I had a one night, last minute stay booked on the morning of my stay. I had let the hotel know I am a light sleeper after some of the reviews stated rooms at the front of the hotel can be noisier with the passing traffic. I arrived late (10pm) after a 2 hour drive and was greeted by a friendly receptionist. I had been assigned a room at the front of the hotel but she noticed straight away before giving me my keys and said she thought the room I was given was a bit on the small side, so took a moment to move me to a quiet room at the back of the hotel which she said would be more comfortable. The room was difficult to find (up one flight of stairs, through a door, down another flight of stairs) but once in I was very comfortable and it was quiet and spacious. The furniture could possibly do with updating at some point but it met all my needs as I was checking out the following morning. Everything was clean and the room smelt fresh. The sheets were clean and crisp. That's all you really need if you are just staying to rest your head. I would stay here again.
