We stayed at 27 on the 27th & 28th of July. We were looking for a nice place to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and after reading the reviews for 27 we did not see any point in looking further. We were not disappointed. I am a huge critic of customer service and I mean a huge critic!! I can honestly say I could not find a thing to fault. To be able to provide a level of service that is both welcoming, genuine and personal is a great achievement and Alan and Ollie provide it with warmth and humour. Honestly, to stay anywhere else would just be foolish, I cannot recommend them highly enough. And on top of the service, take into account the great location, really..why stay anywhere else? Have I mentioned how great the rooms are? The comfy bed? The lovely shower? The tasty and great range for breakfast?...In case I have not made my self clear...BOOK THIS B&B, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!

I spent just one night in July '11 at the host's premise and still, enough to be eager to come back soon! Greatly located close to the beach and in walking distance to plenty of great spots, however far enough from Brighton's busy and partly crowded parts.
Starting from a very warm welcome with great advices given on what to do, see and eat in Brighton up to a stylish, clean room accompanied by probably the best English homemade breakfast I ever had!
A place, where you can feel home from the very beginning and a have a great time, be it a relaxed one or a splendid party time, everything's available at a reasonable price and just 1h away from busy London.

Alan and Ollie are relaxed, make you feel at home, are incredibly welcoming and nothing is too much trouble; they are also knowledgeable about the area and places of interest.
Number 27 is located within easy walking distance of everything you want to see and do and the experience of having breakfast in your room is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Just stayed with Alan & Ollie on 26th July for one night's B&B in Brighton, what a great place to stay.
Booked the day before we travelled via their website after seeing the reviews here. Virtually immediate response to my question about parking & Choccywoccydoodah, and an offer to have our room ready for whenever we arrived, so an excellent feeling of peace of mind that these guys were going to look after us and we hadn't yet left home!
Arrived at 1.30pm, met Ollie, as promised our room was ready for us, parking was a short distance away & £5 for 24hours (a good job Ollie had some coins for the meter!).

What a good feeling to be treated like friends and not just another pay cheque when checking in.

We stayed in Room 2, immaculately clean, beautifully furnished & decorated with great attention to detail and a few great little quirks (disappointed that a couple of crumpled plastic cups had been left on the shelf above the sink in the wet room until a closer look revealed that they were ceramic!). The wet room itself was again spotlessly clean and the worlds supply of fresh good quality towels were available. Comfortable bed with high quality sheets & duvet.

Guide maps and good advice were also given to us by Ollie, places to eat & visit & more importantly how to get there.

A list to fill in for breakfast was also given to us and this would be served in our room when we required it.

8.45am on the dot the next day breakfast arrived. It's not very often that you can get enthusiastic about a fry up but you could about this one! Local sausages & bacon perfect poached eggs, mushrooms, beans & hash browns all superbly cooked and presented, fresh coffee, just the works but cranked up to 11!

There are other B&B's available in Brighton and quite a of them will cost a few quid less per night than this one, however for quality of service, facilities, location and just good old fashioned friendliness we just can't see 27 being beaten.

Thanks Ollie & Alan for a great stay.

We have just returned from a short break in Brighton.

27 Bed and Breakfast was perfect- friendly and welcoming hosts, exceptionally clean and stylish, great breakfast and in a fantastic position for exploring the town.

We would definitely return and will recommend you to all of our friends.

Thank you!
