“Great for dog owners”
Reviewed 24 July 2018 for a stay in July 2018

Handy location for dog owners as there is a great place to walk dogs within a minute. Secure enough to let them off the lead. Plenty of friendly dog walkers as well. Beach about a 30 min walk ( Not flat walk and steps to beach) but is dog friendly, shingle.
House has a very secure garden for dogs.
Ample space to lounge in the garden with loungers provided at both front & rear. Well laid out with a single room with bunk bed & single & main room with a double and bunk bed (door to rear garden). Then a room with folding doors with a sofa bed. More than enough seating for everyone in lounge. Kitchen is well equipped. TV in all rooms and Internet access as well. Could park 3 cars off road.
Plenty of places to eat @ Marina, 5 to 10 min drive with 4 hours free parking.
All in all a great place to stay.

“A very pleasant experience”
Reviewed 27 June 2018 for a stay in June 2018

Tara Mist is about 45 - 50 minute walk to Brighton - Half hour to the Marina. Bus stops outside property ( Big Yellow Lemon ) about every hour or so and cost £2.60 to go to Brighton via Marina. Taxi is around £12 - £15
The property is retro in its style and very clean and well equipped. Its certainly value for money with bunk beds and a double bed in one room, bunk beds and a single in another and a third room with a double Futon in it.
One bathroom with bath and a separate shower.
Plenty of seating and a large diner / kitchen / lounge which is quirky but works very well.
Its a little dated but certainly has plenty of charm.
You are only a 20 min walk to Rottingdean which has Pubs, food galore if you didnt want to go into Brighton.
Ray the Owner kindly left milk, coffee, tea and sugar which was very much appreciated after a long journey.
ASDA is at the Marina for shopping and there is a general store just a 5 min walk up the road.
Its not luxury but it is homely - after all its not Brighton Prices - It is ideal for a larger party and it is very comfortable offering village quiet
i would look forward to going again.
One thing however is that there is quite a hill to walk up should you struggle with mobility to get to the property from the beach.
All in all a great place to stay.

“Tara Mist - a little gem”
Reviewed 23 April 2018 for a stay in April 2018

Enjoyed a wonderful long weekend stay at Tara Mist as my wife was running the Brighton Marathon. Our grandchildren loved the big garden with plenty of space to run around.
The house is very cosy and a home from home. It's very well presented and on a lovely quiet residential road.
Just a few hundred yards from the lovely Beacons Hill Nature Reserve on the edge of the South Downs National Park. A wonderful walk across the reserve to the beach at Rottingdean where pubs, fish and chips and ice cream await.
Tina M is a great host and greeted us on arrival and is just a phone call away.
Looking forward to booking again!

“Perfect location”
Reviewed 9 August 2017 for a stay in August 2017

Huge property with great facilities including a lovely garden. We used it as a base for Brighton but stayed in on the first night with takeaway woodfired pizza from VIP in Saltdean, can highly recommend! Extra sofa bed is a great private space but might be too firm/bumpy for some.
