The friendliness of the staff was outstanding and the service excellent. The Deputy Manager charmed all three of us as he took us on an imprompu tour of the Paganini Ballroom and the unique cellar dining area available to hire.
The history of this hotel is fascinating. The Duty Manager stayed past the end of his late shift enthusing about it. His love of the stories was infectious and so much more personal than the commentry on the handset round the Pavillion.
Although I was initially disappointed in the room, which was clean, functional and effecienty cooled by a standard fan, I would definately stay again.
