“Excellent Value, just how a B&B should be run!”
Reviewed 15 October 2012 via mobile

We have just got back from a 3 night stay at the Atlantic Seafront B&B, and i'll start by saying I will most definitely return next time I'm in Brighton!

4 of us travelled for a long weekend, and we were given room 1 which is the large family room on the first floor. 2 double beds, a large enough bathroom (with a lovely powerful shower), plasma tv, fridge, coffee/tea facilities, nice seating area by the window, and a fantastic view of the sea, Brighton wheel, and the pier. The room was great and even had 3 mirrors which made 4 girls' lives a bit easier rather than fighting for one as we got ready to go out!

Breakfast was lovely, simple breakfast food but cooked well and good quality. No quibbles about topping up the drinks and toast, and a really friendly atmosphere every day. The thing that really sets this apart from other B&Bs I've stayed in was the level of service - it was just right! Our hosts and the staff were always cheery and said hello/goodnight, but weren't that annoying overbearing presence you get at some places. Your keys allow you access 24/7 so you also don't feel like you're being a pain if you want to return late at night. Nothing was too much trouble either, one of our party arrived 6 hours before the rest and was let into the room no fuss even though she was only paying for her share of the cost. We asked for an item of clothing to be tumble dried, not a problem. We asked for some ketchup for our chips we bought from the chip shop, not a problem, and we were even offered bread and butter!

Parking is an issue as its meter parking outside the hotel and gets full very quickly. We used the 30 minute loading spots right opposite to unload and repack the car, and then parked at Brighton station for £11 each 24 hours, which can then be topped up by phone or over the web and is about a 15 minute walk away.

All in all, a great value place (£100 each for 3 nights with breakfast and wifi) and highly recommended!

Stayed here for two nights in September 2012 with 3 friends, sharing the large family room at the front of the hotel. The room was fantastic and had a lovely view over the seafront and pier. The room had two double beds, ensuite shower room, flat screen tv and mini fridge which came in handy! Breakfast was good with options of cereal, toast and all variations on cooked full English breakfast. The staff were very friendly and helpful in providing information and a loan of the hairdryer, iron and ironing board for the duration of our short stay.
I would definitely stay here again if returning to Brighton- top marks!

Room Tip: Ask for a front facing room if you would like a sea view. I would imagine the quieter rooms will be...

The room was fairly small but had a comfy bed, kettle, wardrobe and a great shower! The location really is excellent - literally opposite the pier; we could see it from our window. So close to all of the attractions and a short walk down from the station. Everywhere was clean and smelled fresh. Breakfast was lovely with a good range of choices and pleasant staff. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly and happy to help! Thank you for a pleasant stay, I'm sure we'll be back!! =)

Stayed here a couple of years ago on a weekend away in Brighton.
We had a small room, with double bed so one side was right up against the wall.
Bathroom was tiny but didnt really mind the smallness as we was out for the majority of the day.
Didnt have breakfast as it was served too early for a weekend, not that we slept on long any way.
Good location right in front of the pier and is a good 5 to 10 mins walk to the high street.
If your carrying suitcases from the train station would be best to get a taxi as it is a bit more of a walk from the station.
Would like to stay here again but can never get a room as it always sells out so quickly. We would stay here again if we can manage to get a room and are in the Brighton area.

Room Tip: ideal location wise
