“I can't fault this hotel! Exceptional.”
Reviewed 23 June 2012

I was made feel welcome as soon I arrived with my partner at Blanch House. I had been upgraded rooms for free as the hotel was quiet, which was lovely and considerate. Every detail is carefully thought about and taken care of with little touches like home-made biscuits in the room to make it seem extra special. The street is quiet yet central and I had the best nights sleep in ages, in a comfortable bed that was so wide I could sleep sideways on it! The room we stayed in (Poppy) was very tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, I had a lovely night and felt it was money well spent. Compared to other 'boutique' hotels in the area this offered exceptional value for money without compromising on luxury. There was a wide range to choose from for breakfast and staff were very accommodating of any requirements. I would recommend Blanch house to any one staying in Brighton as it really did help make my stay for my birthday perfect. I will definitely be back again!

Blanch House boasts a fantastic location, great decor, helpful staff and overall fantastic standards (from service, to quality of food, cleanliness, helpfulness, design and more).
The B&B is located within 10 minutes walk of any place you would want to visit in Brighton, without having to put up with Marine Parade's traffic noise. The staff was very helpful in getting us set up and offered advice on the goings on in Brighton when we were there.
The room we were in was absolutely beautiful, very clean and very comfortable. Every detail was taken into consideration, from the types of pillows on the bed to the soap in the bathroom. We felt pampered just by being there.
The Breakfast was excellent as well - unlike most B&B, where breakfasts are pre-prescribed, Breakfast at Blanch House came with a menu from which we could choose a variety of meals, including sweet and savoury and vegetarian options.
Although this isn't the cheapest place to stay in Brighton, the value for money here is great. The experience was well worth it and fully deserving of every single penny.
Thank you so much and I am looking forward to staying here again soon!

All of my family stayed at Blanch House, we were in Brighton for a family wedding.
Our family consisted of 6 Adults and one infant. Of the adults two were vegetarian.
Blanch House was very easy to find and there was space in front of the hotel to drop off luggage and and allow booking in. Parking permits were available to buy to enable parking in zoned areas.
The hotel staff were warm and welcoming and were engaging making you feel that they REALLY were happy to see you - we felt comfortable and welcome as soon as we walked through the door.
The rooms were bright and very clean and decorated to a high standard, with tea/coffee facilities.
The Food was excellent! cooked to a very high standard, freshly cooked, meeting each individual request/need. service was excellent and courteous - nothing was too much trouble.
I cannot recommend this hotel enough, when I visit Brighton again I wouldn't look anywhere else ... really enjoyed our stay, couldn't ask for anything more from a hotel.

to start with Kerry is so welcoming. we arrived at 11.30am and our room was ready so we were able to check in which was great. it was a last minute trip to brighton so i had only booked the night before.
Kerry gave us a map and told us were to go and what to do which was great. the bed was the most comfortable bed ever!!! the place was very clean and quiet.
the decor is beautiful and the breakfast was like i was in a 5 star breakfast restaurant. my partner loved that we got a whole plunger of coffee placed on the table.
I think the thing we liked most about this place as its not chain hotel where the guest is just a number. they care about there guests and make you feel at home. and its a real homely type place more of a b and b guest house than a hotel. overall great experience.

We stayed for 2 nights over the Silver Jubilee bank holiday, our first trip to Brighton,
I contacted the hotel beforehand to enquire about parking permits & had a prompt response from Tim advising us how to proceed.
On arrival, we were greeted by Charlotte, who helped us to complete the parking permits (currently £9.50 per 24hrs) & as luck would have it our room was ready to check in to (Tim had previously advised us by e-mail that we would be able to deposit our bags at the hotel whilst we went exploring if we arrived before check-in time (2pm)
The breakfasts are to die for & our room had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in!! (Harlequin Room). Having the bar on-site is brilliant for a night cap after an exhausting day sightseeing/shopping, and handy to sip a G&T whilst waiting for a taxi (kindly organised by Charlotte) to take us to dinner. Try Casalingo for dinner - we highly recommend it!!
The location is also superb - nice quiet road, but still very close to the beach, Pier & easy walking distance into town.
All in all a fantastic stay in a delightful place - Everybody we met were perfectly lovely & extremely helpful & friendly. Was like staying with friends................................. cant wait to return!
