Certificate of Excellence

We found it by chance, while walking around Kemptown, booked for a night and stayed for three. A genuinely friendly welcome, a comfortable bed in a pleasant room, an excellent and generous English breakfast, - what more can you ask? And all that at a reasonable price in Brighton, of all places!
Gerry helped with all sorts of advice.
Highly recommended.

I have been to Cowards many times now after it was recommended by a friend. The rooms are decorated and furnished to a high standard.
The owner is very helpful, friendly and is able to give good advice and knowledge on the area.
The cooked breakfast is second to none and there is cereal if you prefer.
I now always stay at Cowards when I am in Brighton.
Excellent.

i came into town on a whim and, due to brighton pride, found that all the area hotels were sold out. since i arrived on tuesday, well in advance of pride weekend, i called coward's and they had a small room available. after i arrived and spoke with the proprietor, they had a cancellation just the day before for the room i was in and that i could stay the entire time there!

EXCELLENT ENGLISH BREAKFAST! in fact, more than you can eat! delightful surroundings and close to the gay areas of town, i highly recommend coward's guest house.
