“Kemp Town”
Reviewed 3 July 2014

I loved the Poison Ivy gay Bar in St.Jame's Street. Drag queens there and cheap shots and spirits. we were only strangers for a couple of minutes. Were welcomed and hugged and chatted to by the locals and staff. :D Thanks for a wonderful night of music and fun!! Also Club Revenge had good atmosphere for a great nights dancing with friendly people.Legends Gay Bar had great dance-floor in Basement. Loved all of them very much!! Thanks for a great time in the Gay Village. So good to be able to be yourself with no prejudices.

More and more interesting shops and eateries opening. Gaining a more pleasant bohemian character. Friendly and buzzy place to live and visit

“Just gets better and better”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

Kemp Town has seriously come up in the world over recent years and now boats the best selection of antique shops in the area, some great restaurants and bars and of course the seafront running right along it's southern edge. It's where Brighton locals go when they want to get away from the crowds :)
