Had a 2 night break as part of a birthday celebration. Stayed in Superior double room on 2nd floor which was comfortable, clean and spacious. It included a lounge area, sufficient wardrobe and drawer space, bathroom with bath, shower and double sink unit. Great view out over sea front and Palace Pier. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was buffet style, choice of hot food a little limited, but OK. We didn't eat in the Bistro, and had just one drink in the bar before going out. We used the swimming pool and sauna, both fine. On the downside, there is a nightclub on the road along one side of the hotel, and it was a bit noisy around midnight when people were queueing to get in, and in the early hours when leaving.

We stayed 3 nights in a spacious room without sea view. It was recently refurbished and very comfortable. Full breakfast was served by enthusiastic, welcoming staff who went out of their way to meet our dietary requirements and remembered them each morning! Located on the sea front near the pier, Lanes and a choice of places to eat. There was noise from a nearby nightclub into the early hours which was bearable. The swimming pool, sauna and gym were great, would have liked a jacuzzi too!

We booked in and looked around the hotel and spa (if you could call it that) and booked out again. Our life is too short to stay in a place like this. Take a tip, don't waste your time or money on this place.

I spent a weekend in the Queen's Hotel with friends and enjoyed every minute. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Four of us shared a family suite and the rooms were spacious, well decorated, comfortable and had a lovely sea view. The buffet breakfast in the morning was good. The location is perfect for the pier and for the lanes. This is my second stay at this hotel and I will definitely be returning and have recommended it to my parents who will be staying there in January.

Booked 3 rooms one of which was Tower suite, so paid the expected price for that. Room was spacious, view spectacular, sadly within half hour of resting before our evening out, an overpowering smell of sewers wafted into our room. I was off to a gig but my husband had to stay in. I mentioned the smell at reception on my way out and the pleasant man behind the desk did not understand me. The jacuzzi bath was lovely as was the large shower cubicle but why on earth is the toilet positioned so close to the wall that my husband and to sit 'side saddle'?!
The other two rooms were just about ok but one was huge and the other you coud barely walk around the bed, yet both the same standard.
NO ONE slept a whole night during our 2 night break as the noise both from traffic, passing sirens, drunks proudly annoucing they had peed on a tramp, and a variety of clubbers is not muffled at all.
Prior to our arrival we were not told the Restaurant would be closed due to private functions, luckily we ate at Jamie's Italian which was superb, and up to his usual standard.
Breakfast was from a greasy buffet no choice of egg, just scrambled and the female staff were totally lacking in both english language skills and waitress skills.
Basically £1,000 break worth about £50. Have stayed in more pleasant Premier Inns.

booked here for two nights in superior room bed and breakfast room was ok with sea view but right by side of main road with noise from traffic all night and people coming home making a lot of noise. we ate in the bistro with in the hotel for dinner on first night food quality did not match the prices and new poptatoes where hard when complained all they said was will get you some more but take ten minutes by which time i would have finished no apology made. at breakfast the food was in trays being kept warm but none of it was even warm we never said anything till the next morning when it was cold yet again the staff looked at us as if we was asking for something out of the ordinary all we wanted was a hot breakfast for what we had paid for but alas we was not getting it only dirty looks and yet again no apology

Sea front room on second floor was spacious clean and okay. Noise from upstairs really bad and from the sea front also poor. Hotel was entertaining Xmas parties and the disco music was their responsibility and too loud. Got 4 hours sleep.

Gym was reasonable as i got a late deal, breakfast basic, staff pleasant.
