Just popped in for a drink whilst passing, but the bands and atmosphere were so good me and my mates ended up staying all evening. Can't recommend this place enough.

OK, we didnt come here to eat, we walked past this place and heard the great live music, 'just buskers' would be an understatement. The warm weather, cold drinks, beach location and live music with plenty of soul, R&B, reggae, a bit of funk, just make this the perfect spot to spend some time.

The drinks options are ok, the cocktails were limited but the staff were open to some improvisation, and the beer was really cold so I cant complain. The food was ok too, we had a seafood platter, but combine all of this, sitting in the sun, on the beach listening to some sweeeeeeet sounds and it was bliss.

And to top it off Disco Pete turned up.

Tip - please make sure you donate to the acts.

Had a blast - started a little unsure during set-uop as revellers from the terrace were coming up to find the toilets and were the worse for wear but after 8pm (event booking start time) they no longer gained access
About 80 people had a great laugh - good, friendly and efficient service offered at private bar. Good assistance in setting up DJ and piping hot fish and chips served in 2 waves to placate hungry stomachs!
Not a swanky venue but maintained well, reasonable prices and a location that you cannot fault.
The entertainment outside varies but offers the Brighton 'experience' and delivered all I could have hoped!

Really suprised by previous reviews - ate here last week for no other reason than it was convenient and had lots of space for kids to run around. The staff were efficient and friendly and excelled themselves when my 5 year old had a noisy & embarrassing meltdown about the food he had been given which was then replaced for him free of charge. Made my lunchtime much less stressful. Great live music too.
