We found Ella's Yummy Delights via Google as we wanted to order a special cake for my Mum's 90th birthday. Emilia was so helpful over the phone and with her Mum made us a fabulous coffee and walnut cake which was so moist, full of flavour and presented beautifully and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending them to anyone wanting a celebration cake. The price was extremely reasonable too.

My sister and I came to pick it up and stayed for a delicious coffee each in the lovely patio garden. Thanks very much and keep up the good work!

Thank Sally E

very nice family place - mom & daughter cook fresh and serve. very nice, food was good. Had the cheesy chicken and liked it. a bit messy but good. Wife had English breakfast. But the special was the garden dining room. definitely go there

We paid our second visit to Ella's cafe recently having thoroughly enjoyed breakfast there previously. Our full English breakfast was, once again, cooked to perfection with one of the best sausages I have ever tasted. The service was speedy and very friendly and welcoming. The cafe itself is bright and clean and is by no means a 'greasy spoon'. We will be back!

the clue is in the name of this little cafe "yummy"

breakfast was reasonably priced, £5.95 for a full english.

the sausage was top notch, really good quality meat, the bacon was also quality and cooked to perfection and the eggs too were perfectly fried.

i only have slight grumbles, and they are very slight:

toast served prior to the serving of the breakfast, personally i prefer it all at once rather than as a starter
no choice of how eggs are cooked. strictly speaking we didn't ask if they could be poached/scrambled etc etc so i cant comment on if this was an option but we were never asked either. however i would have picked fried anyway however my other half, in hindsight, mentioned she may have preferred scrambled.

despite these two very minor grumbles it was the best breakfast ive had in a very long time add to that the staff were friendly and took our order and delivered our food extremely quickly.

we noticed the yummy looking cakes on the way out but were stuffed from our breakfast so didnt indulge.

We got off the train at Brighton and headed a few yards down to Ella's after reading reviews of tea rooms ,what a wonderful find, Ella is such a friendly girl she offered to mind our luggage while we went downstairs into the pretty courtyard it was so quite out there despite the fact that there was road works and drilling outside in the street ,we did not hear anything apart from the birds singing it was just like being abroad.
The sandwiches and cakes looked wonderful but we settled for the full English breakfast ,which had been so perfectly cooked by Ella's mum we had proper bread good slices and a pot of tea
This was such a good way to start our weekend away also it was not too far to walk from there to the seafront these two lovely ladies are so worth a visit
