Even though the hotel was full on the second night - we hardly heard anyone else. This is an ideal place to spend a quiet romantic weekend. The owners recommend some restaurants in their room information, one of which we tried and that was excellent too. We hope to come back and would recommend the Brighton Pavillions to anyone.

Having stayed in Brigton many times, mostly at the Hilton and once at the ghastly Queens Hotel, I was not sure what to expect from one of Brightons smaller establishments. However from the moment we drew up outside the front door with its warm glow from the hall lights it felt like comming home.

We were met by our host Phil who greeted us with a warm smile and shown to our room. The room itself was warm, welcoming and immaculate, as was the rest of this cosy little haven tucked away on a street just off the shore road.

Our first nights sleep was comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was fresh and delicious. Coffee and warm toast flowed from the ship-shape kitchen and the door between the dining room and kitchen was constantly open which allowed some banter between the staff and us as well as making us feel even more at home - this in itself was I felt a lovely touch as too often kitchens are hidden away from view, but not here, it was just like being in an aunts house for the weekend, albeit it tasteful and stylish aunt (no mothballs here!!!!!)

The following night was equally lovely, so much so that we decided to stay a third night and in return we had the opportunity to taste another of the Hotel's individually designed rooms - this time on the top floor, again there was no dissappointment here, no drafy attic space or servants quaters at the top of this beautiful old house, instead we were welcomed by the devine "Mikado room", lovingly decorated in greens and reds with yet another immaculate bathroom served with lashings of hot water from a shower that had enough power to scrub the decks of a cargo ship.................Conrad Hiltons establishment could learn a thing or two from Phil and his co-pilot Ken in running a hotel.

However now i will stop my ramble by saying that the staff at this joyous little port of rest are second to none, nothing was a problem, nothing was too much to ask and nothing from Hilton and Co could have ever impressed either of us as much. To Phil and Ken and their crew - we will be back again soon and we will bring all our friends.

P.s. My only regret is that the owners are not running a hotel chain - these people understand hospitality, and I for one would be a shareholder if the did run such a chain.

Enjoy your stay here........we did.

We had a great stay in the Royal Pavillion room. Fantastically comfortable bed and having room service breakfast was perfect (especially with a hangover!). The room was well dressed, clean and has some lovely touches. The hosts were very friendly and eager to help out and recommend places to eat. Had a couple of probs with cold water from the shower (stuck controls) but was quickly resolved.

Will definitely come again the next time we're in Brighton and have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

I adore this hotel. I've stayed allover the place and this pretty much tops my list. I can't really rave enough- but will try!
My amazing dude surprised with the whole thing, and I was impressed to the extent that I had to try to be quiet and calm myself. The whole place is beautiful and our room (Royal Pavillion) was gorgeous. There was even a sea view! And I wanted to take the bed home.
The gents who run the place are ace- kind and helpful. They sorted me out with a restaurant and were happy to chat.
It's just lovely. It's ridiculous and sumptuous and very fun.
I would advise any man who wants to properly impress their lover to take them here.

My fiancee and i stayed in the titanic room and it was fantastic - clean, well designed, lovely decor and very comfortable The complementary snacks were a lovely touch and the flowers and robes made it feel really special. There were wine glasses in the room so we were able to take a bottle of wine to have before we went out in the evening. The breakfast brought into the room was really nice and it was lovely not to have to get dressed and go downstairs. Only one tip - ladies, take your own hairdryer - the one in the room was pretty useless!

I booked this for my wife's birthday and selected it because the themed rooms made it a bit different, the wife loved the room so it had the intended effect. The staff were helpful and friendly, room and hotel spotless and a good breakfast. Location is good as only about 10 mins from town centre and also in a quiet road.

We were warmly welcomed by the owner who insisted on carrying our luggage up to the top floor. Phew! We stayed in Mikado, our friends Camalot. Both spotless and well decorated. Shower room small but clean and adequate. Owners were happy to answer any questions and provided a lovely hearty breakfast.
