Stayed here for one night with my partner and two children aged 20 months and 7yrs. The Hotel is above shops in the busy city centre but is very close too the lanes and about a 10 min walk too the pier.
The family room was very big and quiet but the decor was a bit tired and room smelt a bit. The beds where comfy and daughters sofa bed was clean and made up for us, my sons cot was a basic travel cot which they put a few blankets in!
The bathroom was ok but shower was weak and temperature was a pain too get right.
Breakfast is great value and quality of food was fresh and good with a buffet full English on offer and a big selection of cereals and muffins etc.
Overal the hotel is adequate for a nights stay a little expensive at £98 but the cheapest in Brighton, i have stayed in much nicer premier inns at half the price

We've been to Brighton a few times, and always tried to use independent hotels, with mixed results.
This time we just wanted cheap & clean & central, and we got it.

We went with friends who shopped till we dropped ~ it was brilliant to have our hotel so central that we could pop back to dump bags & soak our feet. It's directly opposite TK Maxx and in between The Lanes and North Laine: ideal. Kemp Town is just over the junction, and the beach is 5 mins away. There's a Co-op almost next door for provisions and a friendly newsagent just down a bit further.

The room was very quiet (good glazing) but stuffy (good glazing). My friends said there was a party on North St at 3am: normal for Brighton ! I always wear ear plugs in hotels myself and didn't hear a thing.

The air con came on in the night and I woke up frozen, so set it before you go to sleep. I found the beds hard too, but that's just me?

The tea & coffee supplied is a bit mean (2 of each) so pack your own if you like a cuppa. The room was very clean & spacious (we asked for twin but got a double and a single bed) ~ our friends got a double with a sofa. Plenty of room for shopping bags & getting changed.

The young reception staff were friendly, helpful and obviously knew Brighton so were brilliant.

We didn't eat in the hotel because we wanted to sample the most of Brighton's various cafes and bars, but the food looked good. If we went again we would breakfast in the hotel, because most places don't open for breakfast until half past nine.

The car park is notoriously difficult to find because of the one way system: we did get it wrong and had to move. It cost up £37 for 2 nights, 3 days, which is cheap for Brighton. We've stayed at hotels with free parking previously, but had to move our car for other guests and it ended up covered in seagull crap too. £37 is worth it for a roof and a good space.

Better still, take the train if you can afford it, it's only a short walk from the station. Once parked up, we took the bus round town: £3.70 for an all day ticket

This hotel is centrally located and does evening meals! The Family Rooms are roomy and bright. Sensibley, the Family Room we had was located at the back of the hotel - the only noise we could hear was the seagulls.

The staff went out of their way to help us organise local day trips and even checked later to make sure we had enjoyed ourselves!

Breakfast is superb!

The reception and restaurant staff were very friendly and gave us a very warm welcome. The bedroom was very large and clean and could easily accommodate my two teenagers and me. Two children can eat breakfast for free for every paying adult so this is particularly good value for single parent families. The breakfast was fabulous, lots of it, delicious with a huge choice. We had one evening meal in the restaurant and although the staff were friendly the food was not great. There was very little choice for vegetarians.
This hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the beach, theatre, shops etc.
I would definitely consider staying here again and have already recommended it to others.

I stayed here for two nights with my parents. We thought the the hotel was great and would definitely stay again.

There is an NCP car park behind the hotel. It doesn't take very long to walk round to the hotel from the car park with you bags. We only stayed for two nights so we didn't have masses of stuff with us so this wasn't a problem. The parking cost us about £37 for out stay. The hotel will give you 10% off if you make sure you give them your parking ticket before you leave.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The usual Premier Inn choices at breakfast. WE thought the location of the hotel was great, it's really near the Pavilion, Seafront and the Lanes.
