This hotel is in an excellent location, a short walk to all the main shopping areas and a short stroll to the sea front. Very close to the train station and buses ran allong the main road outside. A great base for a short break. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Everything exceeded my expectations as I had never stayed at a Premier Inn before.

I stayed here for a few days whilst visiting the area on business.
- Location wise it is good. Walkable from the station and a 4 min walk to the sea front, and a little more to the conference centre and main hotels.
- the room was basic but comfortable. I like the choice between hard/soft pillows and the bed was excellent.
- the breakfast was very good - excellent choice.
- cost was reasonable.
- no ironing facilities in the room which was irritating.
- bathroom was fine.

Room Tip: Get a higher floor and not over the main street.

Even before we got here, they sent us really good information about the car parking and location. The sat nav postcode was spot on, and good directions from the NCP car park made the hotel really easy to find. The NCP car park is expensive, but fortunately you can get the price subsidised if you take your ticket to the Premier Inn reception.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it is what it is. It is a very clean hotel, although my first impression wasnt great. This is because it is sandwiched between a 99p shop & a subway. I dont have anything against these shops, I just didnt expect to find a hotel slap in between them! Also, you had to get through the smokers congregated outside the doors which wasnt pleasant.

The reception is on the first floot and from there on, you could be in any Premier Inn. The decor is standard, but clean and doesnt look at all outdated. The staff are friendly and very helpful and gave us some good advice about the area.

Our room faced the front, so there was a bit of noise from the traffic etc, but it didnt really bother us. Our room also had air conditioning which was fabulous as we prefer our room to be a little on the cool side.

The location is brilliant - you are literally 5 mins from the seafront and 5 minutes from the Lanes. Its very central and an ideal base for exploring this amazing place. All rooms have tea & coffee facilities, and there is a 'customer services' room on each floor with irons and ironing boards in should you need them. There is also a hair dryer in each room. A small gripe would be that they are a bit tight on the towels - 1 large & 1 hand towel for a double room with 2 people in it......I am sure they would of provided us with more had we asked, but as we prefer to shower at different times of the day, it wasnt really necessary.

We had continental breakfast only, but the full cooked breakfast looked great. There was a fantastic range of breakfasts available, all self service so you can get what and as much as you liked.

Our bed was lovely and comfortable, and we both slept well which is unusual for us. The room was a fair size, with plenty of space for your clothes and bits.

All in all, this is a great place to stay to explore Brighton on a budget, and we would definitely stay here again!

Room Tip: Back of the hotel would probably be quieter, but the view would be rubbish!

If you want springs up your back, stay here. Unfortunately had already settled the baby in the cot before realising how bad the bed was. At midnight had to go to front desk and get a duvet to sleep on top of. Have contacted customer services and they dont care.
