The location of this hotel is just perfect- right in the middle of the town, near tonnes of shops, restaurants, cafe's etc. So no complaints there! The value for money too was pretty good as well- the room wasn't spectacular, with a little wear and tear in the bathroom (small amount of ground in mould on the tiles) but it is a premier in after all. Most importantly for us though, the bed was comfy, with a choice of pillows, the shower was powerful and a kettle and full length mirror were provided. We could have used a couple more tea bags and sugars though! Our only very minor complaints would be the view (looked out onto a very manky carpark), the room was a bit dark, and a fridge would have come in handy!
We didn't sample the breakfast, so i cannot comment on that, but we did eat dinner in the restaurant in the evening. The food wasn't fantastic but pleasant enough and reasonably priced with a free salad bar with every meal; a very small salad bar with little choice, but still a salad bar! The staff, too, were very pleasant.
Overall, my boyfriend and I very much enjoyed our stay at the Brighton City Centre Premier Inn and would return.More
