We've just had another great stay with Peter & his team. The rooms are clean, have all the facilities you need & they are above a pub that does great food & drink too. Win!
The best bit about a stay here is the fantastic & hearty breakfast, that's brought straight to your room, so you can sit in the window watching the world go by as you eat.
We highly recommend this place, it's right in the heart of the Laines so close to everything.

The Market Inn is a real find in a excellent location amongst the glorious lanes of Brighton. The rooms are bright and spacious and spotless, breakfast was served to us in our room on the lovely table in the window and was cooked to perfection. The landlord Peter is friendly and helpful and we always get service with a smile. We are booking again soon and would highly recommend it having stayed ourselves 3 times now.

We were extremely impressed with the quality of cleanliness, the bar area was spotless and so was the bedroom we stayed in. Peter and Kasha ( I hope I spelt right) were the perfect hosts. We stayed for 2 nights and had 2 good nights sleep, the bed was very comfortable. The bedroom had tea and coffee making facilities plus biscuits and bottled water.
The full breakfasts were tailored to your requirements, served in our room at the time of our choice.
The Inn is in the Lanes and is central to all attractions and restaurants.
It is a traditional Inn with well kept beer.
Next time we are back in Brighton we would definitely return to this very relaxing Inn.

Room Tip: There are only 2 rooms, both similar in standard.

Our second visit to this hotel. Stayed in King George 111 room, very spacious and light. Table in bay window to enjoy hearty breakfast. Excellent location in centre of the lanes, walking distance to beach, shops, pavillion, dome.
Bad points - no parking, passers by can be noisy after pubs/clubs turn out, very soft bed.

We did not stay at The Market Inn since we weren't going to be there overnight, but we did have lunch at the lovely pub.

Very friendly staff, lovely and relaxing interios with fireplace and window tables. The lunch special was a great value at GBP 5 - we both enjoyed the Winter Warmer special of steak and ale pies with chips and a nice cool drink as well.

A peek inside showed the Inn to be sparkling a warm. We will definitely check it out next visit!

We popped into this lovely Victorian pub - great atmosphere - staff welcoming - lovely warm fires - cosy chairs and tables and had yet again another fantastic winter warmer lunch - excellent value ! helps were huge and extremely welcome after a cold walk along the front - most important also dog friendly to the well behaved - dogs that is ! and not a screaming brat running uncontrolled in sight !!!
We have visited before and my old man was most happy to be left here in a cosy leather chair with a good pint or two in front the fire whilst I raced up and down the sales in East Street and North Laines
