“Great Experience”
Reviewed 8 July 2013

We arrived Saturday morning at around 9.30 and was not due to check in until 3 pm , as you can imagine room not ready so we left our luggage and went to check out Brighton , with them to call us when ready , missed a call from the hotel around 12 noon ! Fantastic !!!!!

The room we had faced in land but to be fare it was only some where to sleep and that didn't bother us at all , the room was small but clean had all the usual kettle , only thing it lacked was air con , instead had a fan!

The hotel was very good staff very friendly , the breakfast was run by a real nice guy , but the younger staff on Sunday either was to young with no experience or was just thick as !!!!
Food fantastic real good value for money and so was some of the drinks nothing to expensive
On the whole great location and we are going back in August can't wait

Room Tip: Try and get a marina view

We had a family celebation for six of us, aged between 6 and 83. Food was delicious, and the service was friendly and efficient. Good value for money, and a great view of the Marina. Will certainly go again.

There is free parking in a multistory car park. Be aware however that it is a long walk from the car park to the hotel along a pedestrian boardwalk, so not good if your bag is heavy or you have mobility problems.

Although quite stylishly decorated the reception area looks scruffy because the carpet is so badly stained.

The room was VERY small and there is no air conditioning and no ventillation in the internal bathroom - making the stay very uncomfortable indeed.

The quality of the breakfast was fine, but the service was very slow . It appeared only the head waiter chappie was allowed to take orders for food.

Positives - the room was very clean with nice sheets and towels.

I stayed here for 1 night on business. Hotel Seattle is at Brighton Marina, rather than in the centre of town. It's a slightly mixed blessing but the views over the boats are good. My room was fine but the terrace is shared and a bit grubby. Sadly, my neighbours allowed their very noisey kids to run up and down on it - screaming - but they were eventually put to bed. My room was spotless but a bit 1980's minimalist and clinical. The bed was good and the toiletries lovely.

I had dinner in the hotel. It was superb and the service outstanding! The Sussex cheese board was to die for! Breakfast was a disappointment - I ordered badly and asked for the room service bento box which was all too sweet and just foul!

I would definitely stay here again. The staff were charming, dinner great and I didn't the mind the 'out of town' location. However, I'd ask for a room on the second floor and order something very different for breakfast!

The location is superb and right on the marina snuggled behind and above all the restaurants. The panoramic view from our room was unobstructed. The room was fresh and clean with a large bed, BMW tv and doors that opened out to a huge balcony which wraps around the whole first floor. It had numerous benches on it which made it the perfect place to sit and watch the sun go down over the marina.
Despite the location the only noise was the gulls which only added to the ambient peaceful feeling the hotel gave.

The only thing at breakfast was the service was a little stilted.
We saw no staff on entering the restaurant so seated ourselves. Ten minutes later we were approached and asked if we had been served. When we said no the waiter tutted and said he would bring us coffee. We waited 25 minutes without any food or drink. In the end I located another member of staff who assured they would bring us a menu and coffee. We waited another ten minutes before receiving the menu. Our coffee did not arrive until after we had picked at the fruit and yoghurt and were being actually served our fry ups. The sausage was not cooked on either plate but the rest was adequate. There was a good food selection on the menu and we enjoyed the balcony view option so much that it was still overall a
pleasant experience.
The reception staff were pleasant and helpful when we asked for plasters, ice bucket etc.
We would definately return to The Seattle. The location, room and views were incredible.

A lovely hotel and a great location. Such a shame that the service in the restaurant is such a shambles. We stayed for 2 nights and breakfast was a complete mess on both mornings. Reception did refund us for the second morning (an allowance of £6.50 !), however there was no apology. This hotel desprately needs someone to get a grip and manage it correctly . Wouldnt bother staying again.

This hotel is very very nice and stylish! The location is perfect, with lots of restaurants within minutes walking distance and not far from Brighton town centre itself. The walk way when you first walk in is just amazing and the room we had which overlooked the marina was beautiful. Very welcoming staff. Will definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and will return again when I'm in the area.
