Booked this hotel as only one available for a short notice trip to Brighton. Was horrified when I drove into the Marina complex as all very down market and entrance to hotel is just a doorway but once you get in it certainly has the wow factor.
All is cool and funky. We stayed in a Marina View room (No. 250). Great room with good facilities and it's own balcony overlooking the Marina. Staff all helpful. Food in the restaurant was fabulous. So much so, that we skipped out early from the gig we were attending just to get back in time for dinner! Wine list is great and had some unusual choices. Could not find anything to dislike about this hotel. Will certainly be going back here again.

I booked the Hotel Seattle for a quick overnight stop in Brighton with a friend to see a concert in Brighton town centre. The hotel is about £7 in a cab from Brighton train station, and you walk back to the town in under half an hour. The Marina itself is lovely with several shops and about 6 restaturants situated underneath the hotel. Check in to the hotel was quick and the receptionist was very helpful with some questions that we had about the local area. We did not eat in the hotel as there was so many restaurants outside but we did enjoy some drinks and cocktails in their bar and terrace which was really nice. The bar staff are really friendly and sitting out on the terrace enjoying a glass of wine, looking out over the marina was a lovely way to enjoy the afternoon sun!
Our hotel room exceeded my expectations, quite a big room that was very clean with a minimalist design, nice beds and a door that opened out onto a shared terrace and looked straight out over the Marina. The bathroom was also big and very clean, with double sinks, a big shower and bath.
We stayed on a Tuesday night and the hotel was very quiet. In th morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast, where you have a continental breakfast laid out but you can also choose in additon to the continental, a cooked breakfast. The staff are polite and helpful, rooms are lovely. If you want to be right in the thick of the Brighton life you might want to stay closer to town as this is a bit out of the town, but for us it was perfect. All in all a very enjoyable stay, I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

The Seattle Hotel is a fabulous to stay. We've stayed here twice now and each time the staff have been really friendly, polite and helpful. The reception and rooms were fantastic on both occasion (on my last trip, they even had a Bose Music station for my iPhone).

The location could be improved as it did take us around an hour to walk from the train station to the hotel the first time when we were unaware of the distance. The second time we hired a taxi from the station and arrive in 10-15 minutes. You can walk into Brighton centre within 20-25 minutes which I would strongly recommend if the sun is out!

The King Size Ultimate rooms are fantastic and provide you with access to the balcony. We had champagne on arrival and sipped this while sitting on the balcony.

Restaurant is of average quality but I believe they try and dress it up too much. I ordered steak but they couldnt provide me with a steak knife or peppercorn sauce - They're missing the basics on this front but it's still (if not expensive) food!
One of the biggest tips I can recommend is to avoid the sea facing rooms on the Sunday night as there is a club just beneath them which doesn't close until 4am. It's not that loud unless the window or balcony door is open.

We are regular visitors to Brighton and thought we would try this hotel for a change of scene.
Unfortunately the location of the property and the marina itself did not lend itself to the tastes of everyone in the group. The weather was poor so we had to book taxis into the city centre - which all added to the cost and hassle of stay.
The hotel is really quirky and boutique but the service was nothing special. Staff were pretty uninterested when we asked for help about the internet and we ended up eating out after speaking to some other residents who had tried the restaurant.
Rooms were great for those who got views of the marina but as these are limited, some of our group had views of Asda and a concrete wall instead which was not so nice.
We will use Hotel du Vin next time for sure but a fair experience.

My boyfriend and i, had a great time at the Seattle.
It is a beautiful, clean, well run hotel and completely met our expectations.
On a hot sunny day sitting out on the terrace of the bar it is truly lovely and you really feel as though you could be in the south of France.
The room was modern and basic however had everything you could need.
The food in the restaurant was lovely.
All in all a great weekend getaway.

My wife and I stayed for a weekend at the end of April, we were worried about the location being far from the Pier and the city centre. However the fairly new marina area is a city in itself with lots of restaurants, bars, shops, cinemas, bowling alley, casino and a large ASDAs.

Its also a pleasant 30 min walk along the seafront to the pier/ city centre or theres the electric railway close by running along the seafront running during the day, or a short bus ride from outside the hotel to the city centre.

The hotel is very comfortable, the rooms are of a high standard, the breakfast was very nice with views of the marina.

We had an inward facing room and had no issues about the nearby bar noise.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again whenever we return to Brighton.

At £139 per night, it was not the cheapest but by far the best. Glad we chose to spend a bit extra. The room was large with excellent sea views and the marina. Had a small terrace outside our room with table and chairs to enjoy the view. Breakfast in bed option is a nice touch if you dont want to venture out, and was included in the price. We had a small baby and they took care of our needs with a cot and change mat etc. Like the 2 sinks in the bathroom that was a nice touch. The large shower was amazing The pillows and duvet were so luxurious and soft, we would just sink into the pillows. Had lots of restaurants and supermarket near by. Shopping centre is a short car ride away with excellent choice of shops. Would definitly go there again !!!
