I stayed here for one night over Easter. The lobby/bar area and breakfast were both great but unfortunately as soon as you enter the lift for your room, the greatness ends. The rooms are extremely outdated, bland and uneven (floor boards). I stay in a lot of hotels due to work so have become probably a bit over critical of hotels and if you plan to stay in Brighton over night it does the job and the beds aren't terrible. If you plan to stay longer I would probably look around at some of the smaller independent hotels as the Brighton Hotel is very much a service driven hotel, not an experience driven hotel.

When we first arrived and went to our room, we where not too impressed. The room was hot with no air conditioning and we where on the noisy side. Along with a doubled bed in a small room we did not sleep very well.
So when we went for breakfast I pope diver to reception and asked if there was any chance in changing room. Well, the gentleman behind the desk could not have been more helpful. He checked there and then told me that was no problem. If I just pack our bags and leave them in the room he will arrange for them to go to the new room. Which was so much better.
The staff in the breakfast room where very friendly and attentive. If everyone was lovely. That can really change your view of somewhere. And yes we would go there again

Room Tip: Tell the hotel when booking if you need a quiet room.

We had a one night stay at The Best Western in Brighton. Our double room was small and located at the back of the hotel. The window did not open far and there was no view. It was very clean and tidy as was the en-suite. The hotel was well maintained and had a small bar area that you could relax in. The breakfast was very nice and all the staff we met were very pleasant and helpful.

Never write reviews but we had a great stay in Best Western over the Easter period.

Hotel is located across the road from the seafront and walking distance to all Brighton attractions including pier, royal place and the the lanes.

Fantastic large room with sea views and excellent facilities. Bed was comfortable and shower was great.

Breakfast was lovely. Please make sure you try the pancakes with blackberries.....amazing. The service provided by the lovely girl who served our breakfast (Lucy) was first class.

A great stay and we will be back

Very expensive for a cramped room with an old matress. No restaurant for evening meals nor room service. Breakfast was ok. I had ordered a morning paper which was not deliveered to my room. I only retrevied it when checking out.

The room 119, with a sea view, was clean comfortable though the en-suite was very small. In fact we had to sit sideways on the toilet!!! The breakfast was very good and the staff friendly, courteous and helpful. Parking a niggle, but 2 minutes down the road is a secure parking area cost £20 for 24hr, which is comparable with other towns. I would come here again, but try to get here earlier to get one if the 10 onsite parking spaces.

I had a small room almost entirely occupied by a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was somewhat run-down with a very noisy power shower. I was unable to get BBC 1 on TV. Other channels worked fine. General state of hotel requires considerable investment to justify the room rate of more than £150 excluding breakfast. This was cheaper if booked in advance of the morning at £6 vs £9. Rough figures. Wifi worked well. I was in room 420.
