It's an excellent venue with a great menu. Despite a problem with our order which was dealt with very well the service was good too. The only problem was that because it was a warm evening the windows at the front of the restaurant were completely open. This has the desired effect of create a nice breeze, but unfortunately also meant the front of the restaurant was filled with cigarette smoke. I don't understand why when the windows are open that they can't just stop people smoking completely.

This is a really cool place to go for lunch and I would imagine dinner. The service was good, escorted us to our table, gave time to select our food and it came pretty quickly. The food itself was good albeit on the smallish side (this was a 2 course special meal deal). The ambience was cosy and judging the amount of people in the Brassier it is quite popular and with an outdoor garden. Very pleasant indeed.

Not very impressed i must say! I had the duck confit but it was quite dry! My friend ordered the salmon. The ratatouille that came with it was quite nice! The guy that served us was definitely bored and didn't want to be there! Quite a shame as i did look forward trying this place! Don't think i will visit again!

Had not been here in awhile ,no particular reason, just that there is so much mid -range choice in Brighton( of varying standards) Cote, I am pleased to say is as good as ever, excellent service and good food.Whilst the basic set price menu until 7(not weekends) is obviously and rightfully very popular ,I prefer eating after 7 when the restaurant becomes a little less busy and quieter.Like the feature of monthly seasonal specials
