We had to try this, the little one & misuses were very excited about trying all the chocolate.

We got there fairly early and people started to queue not long after we arrived. The shop is tiny & quite expensive, bag of chocolate drops £5. The cafe is upstairs and can really only seat about 20 heads, at a squeeze. Personally i wasn't that impressed with the layout but it was quirky.

3 of us eating (2 adults + 1 child) we ordered the normal chocolate cake each and 2 milkshakes + cup of tea. The presentation of the cake was lovely but 1 bit could have done the 3 of us, eyes bigger than belly ! The milkshakes were amazing, but again 1 would have done the 2 of us. My advise is either go VERY hungry or share !! The staff were lovely, very chatty and made you feel very welcome.

The one thing to note is what we ordered was roughly £30, that i think is very steep, but of course i understand why you are paying that amount.

I have only marked this as a 3, it wasn't "average" but is wasn't "very good", if there was a "good" option i would have marked it as that.

Really good food- there was a little mix up with the order and the staff couldn't have been nicer about it. The decor is very Alice in Wonderland and there's a lovely little shop beneath the cafe. Would definitely go again.

Visited Brighton with my kids who were overjoyed that we found this place. They know all about it!
Anyway, it was a fabulous chocolate key lunch, very decadent. Not cheap but thoroughly enjoyed. Worth it for a special treat. Go!!

Definitely worth a visit. The displays in the window are awesome as well as the cakes and chocolates inside. Like others I found prices a bit expensive even just for some chocolate so didn't try anything. Also didnt have time to go to cafe but I think it's worth visiting if you watch the program or like anything creative as the displays and cakes are awesome
