“A truly magical experience”
Reviewed 3 August 2016 for a stay in July 2016

I stayed at this beautiful cottage over the weekend for a friends hen party...
And what an amazing weekend!
From initial booking right the way through to arrival Jacqueline made everything so easy... Lots of help, information and tips! I could not be more grateful!

The cottage is in an incredible location, close walking distance to EVERYTHING... And a mere few seconds from the sea front!

The interior is to die for with no small detail missed... I want to describe this trip through the rabbit hole... However I think it is important for you to search and find the spoils yourself... Sometimes things must been seen to be believed!

I highly recommend this cottage to anyone and everyone who is looking for a weekend of fun and magic!

A massive thank you again! We will be back!

“Absolutely fantastic!”
Reviewed 27 June 2016 for a stay in June 2016

We stayed for two nights as part of a hen party and it was fantastic! The location is perfect, so central and within walking distance to pretty much everything!

The house itself is quirky with lots of attention to detail...the Alice in Wonderland theme runs throughout...which was great for our tea party on the Fri! There was 8 of us which was a slight push as the living space is small but we did manage and there is an extra toilet out the back.

Jacqueline was incredibly helpful and very quick at getting back to you. Everything from booking to arrival was easy!

I would definitely recommend others to stay whether your on a hen, a family, friends...its great for all!

“50th Birthday holiday with four generations.”
Reviewed 14 May 2016 for a stay in December 2015

This cottage is exceptional.
The attention to detail is in every area of the cottage.
The comfort level of this cottage was outstanding.
The location in the Lanes suited our needs for day activity and was great for those in my group who wanted a night out.

The support from the owner was beyond my expectations. She made me feel confident in my choice and answered all questions.
It was a super place to spend time in Brighton and I wish I was going back.

This is a teeny, tiny house snuggled away in the very centre of busy, noisy Brighton. Very cleverly marketed, you do forgive it its size in the name of Alice in Wonder quirkiness and it's also possible to forgive the constant, night time, drunken party atmosphere you are surrounded by because you are, hopefully, part of that and to be fair, you have been warned ( the ear plugs provided were definitely essential on a busy Friday / Saturday night. )
Having said that, we had a great time on our hen weekend. The cottage is perfectly situated to go out in The Lanes with the minimum fuss, it's clean and perfect as a base to enjoy the delights of Brighton.
I highly recommend the Mad Hatters Tea party, especially if it's been a long drive down there.

“Absolutely brilliant.”

We spent a couple of mid week nights in the cottage, I had my mother, 12 year old daughter and her 14 year old cousin. All three girls loved the cottage, you can tell that it has been put together with love.

I have stayed in so many hotels motels and holidays homes, all over the world, most rooms always have one thing in common, they tend to be quite sterile, but The Looking Glass cottage has so many little things that make it so you unique. From the cutlery handles on cupboards, to the teapot faucet in the outside loo. After 2 nights we were all still finding little things that just made you smile.

We had no real problem with the noise from the the pubs at the end of the little lane, although they both seemed to close about 1 in the morning (I only know that because I had a couple of quiet pints after the girls went to sleep.

The location in the Lanes gives access to so many shops and restaurants you will be spoilt by choice.

I can only give my highest recommendation to the cottage and indeed Brighton.
