Service was excellent. Lovely and quiet room with very comfortable bed. We had the Geisha room which was the luxury double room. It was fully functional but a little small in regards to floor and cupboard( hanging space) however we were Christmas shopping so had lots of bags! Great location just off St James St where there are many lovely pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants. I thoroughly recommend this lovely hotel and look forward to staying there again!

A last minute booking for three nights in Brighton led us to this boutique hotel. Online it looked fabulous, and when we arrived the staff and owners were lovely and very helpful. Parking was a complete nightmare though - although this isn't the fault of the hotel. When we got into our room, I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as sumptuous as it looked online, but the hotel was of a good standard nonetheless. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful - we didn't eat any other meal there, but am sure it would have been just as good.

What a lovely hotel, free drink in the room was a great way to start our stay. We stayed in the "the Venetian" and it spotless, amazingly comfortable bed and I didn't want to get out of the shower.

Recommend if you arrival by car that you pop into the hotel and pick up a parking permit, reception we extremely helpful with a map to display where we could park with the permit and we found a space a few minutes after looking.

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel over the Christmas period and throughout our stay the staff were exceptionally friendly, polite and helpful. We had originally booked one of the cheaper rooms but on our arrival we were told we had been given a free upgrade to The Renaissance Room which was a very pleasant surprise. This room was spacious with a lovely view of the sea and the park in front of the hotel, and we were very comfortable indeed. The breakfast choices were varied and very plentiful. The hotel is clean, tidy and nicely furnished and its quiet seaside location is ideal for holiday makers - just a stone's throw from all sorts of useful shops in Kemp Town, and a short walk from the pier, wheel and town centre. We had a wonderful time and we will definitely be staying again.

Booked this online as it looked lovely and very good value and we weren't disappointed. Staff were very helpful and charming and the room was spacious and comfortable. A little more attention to detail would improve the rating to excellent for everything: the bath was a bit grubby but when we mentioned this to staff they cleaned it straight away. Breakfast in bed is pricey (at £8.99 per person) so I went downstairs the first morning to collect a couple of croissants to eat in the room. Staff told me that this was normally not allowed but quickly put a tray together for us. Overall a great place to stay and would recommend. We will definitely return.
