This was our 2nd stay at Seaspray and we were so pleased we returned! We wanted a relaxing weekend by the sea and it was great. We stayed in the Indulgence suite and went for the weekend package which included Champayne on ice, chocolates, breakfast in bed and a late check out. The room was lovely with a great view of the pier and sea. The breakfasts were fab -excellent bacon sandwich-just what was needed after the bottle of champayne the night before!! The king size bed was so comfortable- great nights sleep. You can purchase a parking voucher for £6 per day, which is a lot cheaper than any carpark or pay and display.

This is a great hotel, run by warm friendly people who can not do enough for you to make sure your stay is special. Will definately be returning next year and would hestiate to recommend!

We've just returned from a very relaxing stay at Seaspray. We only stayed one night but it was exactly the break we needed. The room was booked via email and the hotel's own website and we chose to stay in the Manhattan Penthouse Suite. From the moment we checked in we were welcomed by friendly professional staff who were keen to make sure we had everything we needed. The hotel throughout was immaculately clean. The room was beautifully decorated, and although not spacious was more than adequate for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and we were able to have a good nights sleep. We had a sea view from our window and a stunning view of the pier all lit up.
Full English breakfast in bed was included in our room rate, it was delicious and arrived at exactly the time we had ordered it for. However I would have preferred freshly squeezed orange juice and an extra slice of toast each. Other issues included the cutlery not being sent up with our breakfast and having to phone down for it. It was sent up straight away with a sincere apology but it was annoying to have to wait. Also the TV reception in our room wasn't great. We were unable to watch either BBC 1 or 2 and a couple of other channels. As we were only there for one night and only really watched TV in the morning I didn't get round to raising this problem with the reception staff. This is a small issue but for the c.£200 price for the room all the facilities should have been perfect. I wouldn't say this hotel was excellent value for money but in a city where centrally located, quality hotels with room availability are hard to come by, £200 seems to be the price you have to pay.

Overall though this is a lovely guest house/hotel to stay in and we would definitely consider staying here again.

I stayed at the hotel 2 nights ago and it was the comfiest bed my boyf and I have ever slept in! We had the Indulgence Suite which was lovely and had a really upmarket shower room. I would (and already have) recommend this hotel to others.

the room was excellent, everything I expected - tv, stereo, dvd and fridge, bathroom was lovely and very comfortable, staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the breakfast was great. Location was just right, it was a short but pleaseant walk to the shops/restaurant.
After a very stressful year, this break was the perfect choice for relaxing with a good level of luxury. well worth every penny and will definately return again.

We booked seaspray on a whim, and saw all the negative reviews for the bigger hotels in Brighton- got a good deal direct from the hotel and they couldn't have been more accommodating, right from time of booking- rooms are really lovely, staff so helpful and friendly, and breakfast was really good- bacon butties mmm. It's 5 minutes from the lanes and less to the pier so ideally situated. Couldn't recommend highly enough but watch out for the killer seagulls at the pier who attacked me for a doughnut

Thank you very much for your recent review.

I am delighted that we met your expectations, and am very grateful for your response. It is essential that we receive feedback from our gests in order to continue to meet their needs, and I am thrilled that your stay was so enjoyable.

I very much hope to welcome you back to the Sea Spray in the near future, hopefully when the seagulls have been fed!

Kind regards,

Neil Boyce
General Manager
