“Best scrambled eggs ever!!!”
Reviewed 28 November 2013

1. Very nice breakfast - loved the scrambled eggs. 2. Small double (2) with en-suite 3. Good location 4. Phone (EE) and Wifi worked well. 5. Parking all around this area is permits and pay at meter, I got lucky and paid £1 x 2 and £5 for the 3 nights. I would recommend and stay again just based on the help and excellent customer service i received. Thank you

The hotel was lovely, very nice decor and excellent breakfast. The room had a good size and it was very comfortable. The location was great, a short stroll from many cafes, pubs, and vintage furniture shops, and a few minutes from the city centre. The owners were very nice and helpful.
We visited Brighton for a concert and stayed just one night, but after staying at The White House we'll definitively come back and stay there again.

Room Tip: Room 3 has a lovely balcony. Check out The Black Dove, a cocktail bar in the neighbourhood.

Funny little B&B which is scrupulously clean and supplies an above average breakfast! Rooms are tiny and there are no baths, a fact that I find particularly irritating as I hate showers. Room was quite noisy being on the road and every creak in the hotel is heard resulting in a not very good night's sleep. Also, outside my room was I think a street light so not very dark either.
Comfortable enough bed and the staff were very nice and accommodating.

Pleasant and helpful staff, truly excellent breakfast, spotless room. Well-located within easy walking distance of the pier and city centre but away from noisy pubs. I will definitely stay here again.

The White house is located in Kemp Town which is a short stroll of about 10 minutes into the centre of town. We had booked two rooms and were given an upgrade to a lovely suite, whilst my daughter stayed in a small double. The furnishings and decor were clean and modern and we enjoyed a good nights sleep.Breakfast is served in the basement and offered a great selection including a vegetarian option. There is no parking outside and we were directed to some street parking nearby. As this was a late booking we were given a discounted rate, which was good value. However I'm not sure whether the hotel is worth the advertised rates.

Just back from a pleasant one night stay in room 8, The White House, Brighton.
Generous sized room (although I believe it is one of the larger rooms, so I cannot comment on the 'standard' sized rooms), decorated to a high, modern and tasteful standard. Complete with large en suite, including a 'double' sized shower.
Located in Kemp Town, which has it's own shops, pubs, bars, cafes etc., but Brighton centre is only 5-10 minute walk away and less than £5 for a taxi. The seafront is at the bottom of the road and can be viewed from some of the rooms (great sea view in room 8).
Comfortable sleep, warm and quiet location.
Parking was a couple of streets away and fairly cheap considering the prime location. Heidi was very helpful in assisting us with this.
Breakfast was fantastic. High quality local produce, cooked to perfection.
Would happily stay again.
Thank you for having us.

Room Tip: Room 8 - great sea view.
