Review of Brighton House
5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed 19 May 2017via mobile
We spent 2 nights there with three people and we stayed in the lowest floor but for a bottom floor it was great! The room was big enough for everyone to move freely. Toilets were cleans and there were even windows big enough to brighten up the room during day time. It was minutes walk from the city centre. Breakfast was great and staff were nice. If I visit Brighton again I am sure going to stay there again!

I spent three very comfortable nights at Brighton House. I stayed in the basic room on the top floor which, as others have mentioned, is a small room but perfectly suitable for anyone who just needs a clean, quiet room to come back to at the end of a long day. The bedroom and bathroom is pleasantly decorated and contains all the b&b essentials and more.

Much effort and care goes in to the running of this B&B, even down to the finer details - good quality tea in the rooms, hairdryer, iron and board supplied, even a bowl of fruit.

I really enjoyed the breakfasts; good coffee, juices, croissants, fruit, locally sourced fish, various cheeses, and much more - so think continental, not full English.

The staff were very friendly and helpful - many thanks to them!

Unless it's fully booked I won't stay anywhere else in Brighton for future business trips.

We had wonderful 3 nights at Brighton House. Perfect location, only minutes away from both city centre and the beach. Nice area with lots of restaurants and bars within a very short walking distance.
The B&B is very nice with a fantastic friendly and helpful staff!!! Could not have been treated better anywhere. Great breakfast too. A very nice and clean Hotel/B&B

Small room but clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast with a lot of variety. Very quiet. Great location near pier. Good location for walking to the sites. Lots of stairs if you are on higher levels.

A lovely house, a cream bow-fronted Brighton classic, on Regency Square, opposite the old West Pier and the new i360. We have stayed at the Brighton House five or six times now, and never tire of it. As well as being a beautiful house, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the breakfasts are the best anywhere - but not if you're after a full English. In the large front room on the ground floor there is a large table groaning with cheeses, meats, cured fish, preserves, honey, hardboiled eggs, breads...as well as a sideboard equally groaning with cerials, juices, fresh fruit salad and dried fruits of most descriptions. Tea or coffee is served at the tables, along with toast, so strategically planning how many trips you need to make between your table and the serving tables and back is part of the fun. You can park in the NCP in the square, or arrange to park round the corner at Regency Mews, which is cheaper and run by nice people too. Can't praise the entire operation at BH highly enough.

I booked this hotel for the Brighton marathon weekend in April after reading good reviews.
No sooner than I walked into the door I was welcomed by one of the night staff who was very friendly and helpful with checking me in.

The room I was given was small but very clean and well furbished along with the ensuite shower room. The breakfast was continental but freshly made and tea/toast was brought out by helpful staff. On the marathon day they opened up for breakfast earlier to allow runners like myself to have a decent breakfast before heading off to the start line. I would say breakfast could have been started at 7am instead of 7:30am on the marathon day only because it would allow runners to digest their food with enough time as the marathon started at 9am.

Overall I really enjoyed my stay, the hotel was very closer to the centre of Brighton and there were plenty of good restaurants within close proximity of the hotel. I would definitely return here and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Room tip: The room was very clean, well furbished and maintained by the cleaning staff.
