I would most definitely stay here again, very cheap considering how clean, modern and nice the hotel is and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room was a nice size, bathroom had everything needed. Free wifi throughout and the location is fantastic as its a 30 second walk to the sea front, with the pier a 5 min walk along.

Above all i highly recommend, especially as this is one of the very few hotels that allows you to book for one night, i will book again on my next visit to Brighton.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 7, great window view onto the street with loads of natural daylight.

We needed a room for 1 saturday night in Brighton with parking and this was one of the few hotels that would take a single night booking at the weeekend and had parking available (only two parking spaces, so need to book early). I don't do breakfast and they kindly reduced the price because of this. The hotel was exactly what I was looking for: clean, stylish, tastefully furnished rooms at a very reasonable price. The guys who ran the hotel were friendly and accomodating without being over the top. There were some nice touches - packets of love hearts on our pillows (possibly as near to Vaentines day!), enough tea and coffee for two cups each plus some nice biscuits and we were given a cup of coffee when we arrived after our long drive. The room was not large, but it was perfectly sufficient, there was also a clock radio/cd player as well as a TV which was very useful. It was only a short walk from here to the seafront and all the attractions of Brighton. For the price we paid I can't imagine finding a better hotel in Brighton, I would thoroughly reccomend it.

Stayed just the one night in room 7 paying a single supplement for a double room. Hotel taken over by new owners last November and, at present, is a typical B&B. I'm assured that there will be significant redecoration and a few changes. To be fair it isnt too bad but am confident that the new owners will turn this into a much improved accommodation. I would stay again and might even take my wife next time. It's a short walk down to the front and main town centre with all its boutique shops and other Bohemian type premises for which Brighton is renowned for.

Room Tip: Street location ( halfway up a hill ) and numerous staircases do not make accommodation suitable for...

Great B&B, extremely friendly staff made us very welcome, very clean en-suite room, full english breakfast served in the morning was very tasty and freshly made. B&B was also located within sight of the beach and a few mins walk from the center of town.

Was a bit worried about booking the Alvia following reading some of the reviews. However, the location was perfect. The room was great and the owners were very plesant.
Under new management with lots of potential.
It was everything we were looking for. A great place for a weekend break in a great city.
