“Cosy place to stay”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 October 2013 via mobile

Charming, lovely, cosy place to stay ! Well place, close to the sea and center. Discovering of the English breakfast ( sausage, beans, bacon, scrambled eggs ) prepared by the masterchief William. The staff, Tommy, William & Maria are really welcoming ! Rooms are cosy and clean.

Lovely little place to rest up. Rooms were very clean and tidy (if a little small). Service was very good and staff were helpful and pleasant. Enjoyed our stay. Booked the breakfast and wasn't disappointed, good valid for money.

if arriving by train id recommend getting a cab here, as its a good 20 min walk from the station.
the guest house itself was lovely and clean and we were really pleased with our room, which was spotless, modern and exactly as the website shows. The member of staff was very welcoming and helpful.
breakfast was delicious (especially the fresh warm croissants served). My only ask would be to play a bit of background music, tv or somthing in the dining room, as its small, and we could all hear a pin drop!
Would definatly go back again. Thumbs up for couples :)

We stayed for 5 nights at the Four Seasons over the August B/H weekend 23rd to 27th August 2013. We stayed in Room 7 (a good, clean and surprisingly sizable room for such a small guest house, with a good shower, good sensible furniture and a very comfortable bed). Very good value and great service. It is well situated on a junction of Lower Rock Gardens and St. James's Street. Ideal for the sea front and attractions and for the Kemp Town venues and cafes, bars and restaurants and shops, the Black Dove is an excellent pub, as is the Camelford Arms. William and Thomass and the girls provided good service and were helpful, friendly and welcoming. Also, it is ideally sited for local buses. We travelled to Worthing and also took the lovely 13X Service to Eastbourne via Beachey Head. Great trips and very good value. Thanks very much William and Thomass for a great short break and we will recommend you to others and hope to visit you again. Pete & Clive

Room Tip: Room 7 was good, didn't see other rooms

We only stayed one night in room 5. The room was quite large and ensuite shower room small with a nice shower. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent very hot and tasty. We would stay again if we were in the area

We decided in March 2013 for 4 of us to go away for friends wedding anniversary, came on trip advisor and found 4 Seasons B & B. Went on site was just what we needed and booked for July 2013. Very easy to find by car, you must book parking spaces in advanced as limited parking. The room was small but immaculate just what you needed. Bathroom again small but clean and brand new. All we wanted was good night sleep and shower and breakfast. This B & B Definitely did the job. It was 2 minute walk to seafront and close to everything. The breakfast was lovely and they had good choice of what to eat. If we go to Brighton again will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: All rooms were noisy because of seagulls. Also breakfast was 9 till 10 so either up early or eat ou...

Only stayed for one night in room 6 on the top floor which is rear facing. The welcome was friendly and the room was small, as expected, but very clean, so much so if fact that Mrs P had no comments! The breakfast was delicious and i woud definitely stay again.

Room Tip: The small rooms would probably be too small for longer stays as the "wardrobe" space if ve...
