“Perfect short break ”
Reviewed 27 July 2014 via mobile

Stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. Our hosts were very friendly. We were in room 5 which was very spacious and comfortable. Room had a small fridge with complimentary water, tea/coffee making facilities with biscuits and chocolate. There was a large standing fan which was a godsend in the hot weather. Bed was extremely comfortable too. Overall a very pleasant and clean room with lovely clean shower room which also had complimentary toiletries.
Only tiny negative I would say is that it can be noisy outside esp on a Friday night but to be honest, ur in Brighton, it's going to be noisy! And it never stopped us from sleeping
I would stay here again in a minute. Very enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for 3 nights, in late July. The only down side to our stay was the noisy seagulls who wake up far too early! But that's Mother Nature for you.
Apart from that we found the 4 Seasons a very clean, tidy and comfortable guest house, well worthy of its 4 star AA rating, the two gentlemen who run the establishment do so very well.
I can't compliment them enough on just how perfect it made our stay. Our room (6) on the top floor was a compact double, saying that, it was quite adequate for what we wanted, somewhere to lay our weary heads at the end of a long tiring day of sight seeing. The bed was extremely comfortable with crisp white bed linen and a feather duvet which was so much nicer than a manmade hollow fibre quilt (far too hot in the summer). 2 jumbo white fluffy bath sheets and 1 hand towel were provided along with a slip mat for the shower, toiletries, hair dryer and an added bonus of a fan in our room, which was much needed as it was VERY hot weather when we stayed. There were tea/coffee make facilities, TV and free wifi, the code was given to us on arrival without us having to ask for it.
We were made to feel very welcome by everyone we encountered during our short stay. The food was plentiful and more than enough to set you up for the day, on offer was fruit juice, cereals, fruit salad, hot croissant, boiled egg and toast along with jam and marmalade, tea or coffee, cold meats, cheese and yoghurt. I was pleasantly surprised at how much we were offered for breakfast. The boiled eggs were cooked to perfection for me, hard white, runny yolk to dip the toast in, yum.
The room was cleaned and replenished on a daily basis and the en suite was clean (no mouldy sealant around the shower) and fresh. The communal areas, ie stairs, hallway and dining room were all kept clean and tidy and were hoovered and wiped down/dusted daily. You guys put this poor woman (namely myself) to shame ;). Probably not the cheapest place to stay in Brighton or the most expensive but saying that it was most probably the cleanest in my opinion. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone who is looking for somewhere to stay and I couldn't fault you on the presentation of our room. On the whole we were very happy during our stay. Thank you.

We visited Brighton in May 2014 and stayed at Four Seasons. This was our sixth stay at Four Seasons and, yet again, we had a wonderful time at the Guest House. If you like your Guest House to be friendly (yet professional), clean, tidy, cozy with character, then Four Seasons is definitely for you.
Their breakfast has a continental theme, so there is plenty on offer; from Croissants to yoghurts and orange juice to coffee. Another bonus with Four Seasons is that you are within walking distance of the famous Brighton Pier and the centre of town (or should that be city!).
Thommy and William are fantastic hosts and we will most certainly be back at the Four Seasons soon.

We stayed here for 2 nights in July as a spur of the moment booking. The price was very reasonable compared to other Hotels/Guest houses in Brighton, We had phoned ahead to let them know we would be arriving between 4&5 and the owner was waiting to greet us. He welcomed us in and then ran us through the "need to know points" as he handed us our card key. Then proceeded to show us upstairs to room 5 carrying my case for me.
The room was a nice size and Decor was tasteful. We had a lovely big sash window through which we could see a sea view from.
The Bathroom is small but fitted with a modern shower, sink and toilet suite perfectly adequate for our needs. There are tea/coffee making facilities and a small fridge with bottles of water in.
There is also a T.V on the wall and a small seating area and coffee table.
Breakfast is continental. We had boiled eggs which were cooked to order perfectly. Coffee was good also.
There is a bus stop just yards from the front door where we caught a bus to Bristol Marina which was lovely trip out.
All in all we enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons and would definitely go back.
The only negative were creaky floorboards in room above us. But this is a minor niggle!

Room Tip: No lifts.2 small flights of stairs to Room 5 which is larger than standard size.

This guesthouse was centrally located not far from Brighton Pier and close to the township and restaurants. The room looked like it had been recently renovated as everything was lovely, fresh and clean. The bathroom is a little small and taking luggage up 3 flights was difficult, but this is understandable in a Georgian building. The room was decked out with modern furniture and furnishings including large fluffy towels. All the normal toiletries and tea, coffee and bisquits were provided. The hosts Thommy and William were friendly and provided a lovely continental breakfast. The only downside was the town itself. On the first night we were there it was noisy until the early hours of the morning due to shirtless drunks etc. due to some sort of festival being held nearby. Parking was not a problem as Thommy provided us with parking permits for the two days and we managed to get parking a couple of streets away.

Room Tip: Get a room on the lowest floor to avoid having to take luggage up narrow stairs.

Stayed for one night in this lovely B and B - close the seafront. The room (Room 2) was small but all we needed. Spotlessly clean, both the bedroom and bathroom. Very impressed with the towels, big, fluffy and white. There were also toiletries in the bathroom. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room and a complimentary bottle of water. Parking didn't prove difficult and the hosts were very helpful in sorting out a parking permit for us. Very impressed - would stay again.
