If you are looking for a place to stay in Brighton then stay here and you will be amazed. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. We booked a standard double but the staff upgraded us to Danube and the sea view was fantastic from the floor to ceiling windows and we even had a small balcony to sit out on. Througout our stay the staff were very attentive and efficient and this really made a huge difference. They sorted cabs and restaurant bookings and when we ate at Drakes the hotel had even arranged a complimentary glass of champagne each for us. The bar man was very helpful and offered to make us any drink we fancied. Breakfast was also lovely. Overall a great place with the best staff.
We stayed at another famous seafront boutique hotel the next night and it came a very distant second
well done hotel una

I booked a three-night team offsite at Hotel Una for colleagues from the UK, Ireland, US, Singapore and Japan.

From first to last the Hotel Una staff team were amazing - helpful, kind, thoughtful, efficient and attended to our every need. I felt incredibly proud to host a team travelling from around the globe at Una and it certainly set the right scene for a successful meeting.

The breakfast and lunch were excellent, and the meeting room was well equipped and sufficiently private.

All in all, I can't thank Una enough for being so fabulous (and the room with sauna and jacuzzi is just fabulous too ... though more for a private stay than with colleagues :))

We had a great couple of days staying here (Sat and Sun) - our room, Usk, was lovely - right at the top with a view over the square. The bedroom and loo were a bit on the small and awkward side but the lounge area with lovely bath in the room was fab - with the sun shining it was perfect.

The staff in the hotel were excellent - really friendly and they couldn't do enough for us. Special thanks to Paul who sorted the watching of England in the World Cup out and put a smile back on our faces when we lost!

Definitely recommend this place, it's smart, clean, friendly and the decor is cool and trendy. The rooms have lovely accessories and the linen, towels etc is all high quality. Big thumbs up!

I have spent the past week living out of a case travelling with work - and this was the best place all week!

Rooms were clean and tidy, and had working air con, staff were helpful and always checking everything was ok.

Was given a list of good pubs and places to visit.

Also have a look at the DVD list, I was expecting a handful - they have enough to put blockbusters to shame.

Only bad point was having to pay an extra £12 at the underground car park, although this is nothing to do with the hotel its right across the road and looked safe and secure, and had lots of spaces.

Will be coming again with my girlfriend for a small break!

The hotel is located about 10 mins walk away west of the Lanes of Brighton. Set overlooking a square the hotel is fairly unremarkable externally. The is a convenient car park underneather the sqaure and the hotel is just feet away. We chose our room which we were shown "Neris" which didn't have much of a view although was well appointed. We were offered a complmentary upgrade and having been shown "Jubba" which is west facing and overlooking the square, my wife chose the latter. With an oblique view of the sea 150 mtrs away it was an obvious choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Book restaurants early. "Due South" on the beach was fully booked but we had a great dinner at the Gingerman in Norfolk square (great food but could use aircon on the hottest of days). The Tapas place in the Lanes is great (you can't mis it).
Breakfast was wonderful - we sat in the bay window. Don't hesitate to stay here. The Bulgarian barman knows his stuff and is very chatty. Offered to bring us our drinks up to our room. The hotel has a revolving door an a very interesting lift. Rooms have big TV's and the hotel with lend you complementary DVD's. Stop reading and get booking. You can't help but enjoy ! Would go back in an instant.

I have just spend my birthday weekend at the Una.I received wonderful service from staff who, without exception, went out of their way to make me feel welcome and at ease. Nothing seemed to much trouble in terms of helping me find somewhere to eat and places to visit. My room was spotless and beautifully presented. The public areas, especially the bar, are stylish and a pleasure to sit in. The qualifity of the breakfast was exceptional. It is the staff that make the difference here - it is impossible to fault them. Thank you for a great stay.
