We booked a table on a busy Saturday night, for our Anniversary dinner. We have been going to this restaurant for many years, but this is the first time after its recent refurbishment.
They have obviously spent a lot on the refurb, and it has been done in a contemporary way, they have a guided tour on their website if you want to see it.
Anyway, the food was absolutely delicious, as ever, we had the Emperors banquet
All the chinese staff that served us are second (or more ) generation and are all fluent english speakers, so there is no problem if you want something on the menu explained. The service was excellent, as ever.
The only minus (and I am being picky here) is that the very soft music being played was western and not chinese. And although the decor is good, it again is heading in the western direction!
Service charge is added to your bill. Will look forward to going again. The scollops and the ribs were to die for!
This is a popular and busy rester ant, you need to book at weekends. It is not cheap, but you pay for quality.
