Our first experience was not so good. The kids got a bland pizza which we thought was overpriced. That was four years ago, and since we have tried the restaurants in Battle, Rye and Hastings again. The cook probably had a bad day the first time. Because all other times the food was fine. For the kids a good choice on the very affordable children's menu and for us always an Italian staple or a usually very good selection of daily specials. I enjoyed some great fish there. And it is a good place for guests that do not like fancy food, as they serve the usual pizza and pasta's.
