We spent three nights here with our Labrador and had a suite which was spacious, warm and very comfortable. The suite was clean and welcoming and we spent a few hours there relaxing in the afternoon after walking around the area. There is a beautiful park at the back of the hotel, ideal for walking the dog.

We ate at the restaurant whilst we were there and the food was good and they were able to cater for my dairy free diet. The staff were helpful and friendly and even prepared fresh cooked vegetables for our dog. I booked at short notice from France as we were due back in England with our dog on the Thursday and decided to stay in St. Leonards. We did not have a sea view room, our suite looked out onto the back roads. The buildings were nice though and it did not matter too much the hotel has a listed solid wood stair bannister and a listed revolving door at the entrance.

We sat in the bar afterwards with our dog and enjoyed a couple of drinks. I would recommend this hotel and next time would try and get a room facing the sea.

Room tip: Try and book a sea view room if you can as this hotel is on the sea front.

we stayed in this lovely hotel in February of this year. Of all the hotels we stayed in while in England this one far beyond what we expected! From the gorgeous view over the channel and the easy and beautiful walk to Old Hastings and the fabulous staff. This is the place that we will stay when we return in a couple of years, I'm not even going to look around. This was home away from home!!

Room tip: the rooms facing the channel are my first choice because of the view day and night! Also parking is not an issue as you can park at the hotel or across the street in a very large car park.

Convenient location, room was lovely size and very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Good breakfast selection but was disappointed with meal on first night so ate out on second night. Overall an enjoyable break.

Great night away with my partner, had fantastic room, view was lovely and the food was reasonable and also very nice.. The staff were fantastic, we asked a lot of questions about the area which is within walking distance to Hastings and had a great time.

Room tip: Balcony rooms are obviously the best, but I'm sure all the rooms are lovely, we just had a normal room but it was great and very spacious

I visited Royal Victoria hotel for Afternoon tea recently. I reserved a table over the phone few days in advance without any problem. On the arrival we were directed to the Bar lounge on 1st floor . The stair case was pretty impressive, however decoration and carpets were tired and outdated. The interiors far from stylish and in need of urgent updating. A table cloth was stained and dirty. Food was OK-ish. Staff was friendly and helpful, but clearly not familiar with the latest offers, promotions and prices advertised on the website. I was almost overcharged approx. £9.00. It's unlikely that I will visit again.
